Isabella Martini - POV
Blood was dripping from the side of my face, and my head was pounding with a splitting headache, but I didn't care right now. My eyes were glued to the entrance to the ballroom, still hopeful that Arlo would come outside and take me with him. "Move, Bitch!" Gael growled as he pushed me towards his car.
The warrior had already opened the back door, and Gael held my head and literally threw me inside. "Gael, please!" I begged him one last time as I held his hand, but he harshly shoved me away. When he was about to get inside, someone roughly pulled him away.
"What the fuck!" Gael yelled while I got out of the car at the same time as well. My eyes widened in shock and relief as they locked with Arlo's, even though I could clearly see the anger and hatred there, I saw a hint of kindness, which was more than enough right now.
