Isabella Martini - POV
"We are getting close." Sophia's voice made me look away from my phone screen to the road outside. We were still traveling on the freeway, and there were no cars beside ours.
"How do you know?" I asked as I glanced at her through my peripheral vision. Minerva was following us in the escort cars that Arlo sent with us while Sophia and I drove ahead. She nervously tapped her fingers on the steering wheel when she finally pointed out to a signboard that we were soon approaching.
"That's the town we are supposed to make our stop," she said as I began analyzing my surroundings. As we passed the signboard, I realized that there was nothing but lush green trees on either side of the road.
This was supposed to be a town, but I don't see any sign of civilization in here.
"Are you sure?" I asked when I saw Sophia look at the maps on her phone.
