As they finished breakfast, Ethan and Bella said their goodbyes to Henry who was heading out for a day of golfing. Once they were alone in his car, Bella turned to Ethan with a determined look on her face.
"Ethan I want to visit my brother Ken at the hospital today," she said her voice firm.
Ethan's expression softened, and he nodded. "Sure Bella. I'll drive you there."
Bella smiled weakly. "Thank you Ethan. That means a lot to me."
Ethan's heart went out to her, she always thanked him for little things. he reached out to brush a strand of hair behind her ear. "We'll go together," he said. "I want to support you."
Bella nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude towards Ethan. She was starting to realize that their fake marriage was becoming more real to her and she wasn't sure how to process her emotions.
