"My lord," Melissa appeared in the room and Cedric bowed to her. Ignoring him, she turned to the man standing close to the window.
"It is done, the dark prince has fallen. I saw him with my own eyes."
The man standing near the floor to ceiling window closed his eyes and a soft smile appeared on his lips. "I know, I can feel his passing."
"You must be happy, my Lord," Cedric asked with a grin, "your biggest threat is finally out of the picture."
"Indeed I am, Cedric, indeed I am," the man turned to them, his eyes were a dark brown and Melissa sighed in relief for not seeing his demon eyes yet again.
"There is only one problem, my lord," she said.
"And what is that now?" the man asked.
"The wolf, the rogues failed in capturing her and I wanted to do so myself but the prince had used his demon power right before dying. He had carried her and the pure blood witch away in a tornado."
"What?" The man asked, shocked.
