Cherry gasped as she covered her mouth with her palms. Ellie shouldn't have spoken back at them, she should have just let it go. Ellie's hands curved slowly into a fist as her brows raised up.
She might not be a supernatural but she was rich, her father owned different conglomerates all over the world. This was the first time someone who lay their hands on her. This was the first time she had to answer to someone. How dare…
"Ellie, let's go." Cherry nudged her slowly but she pushed her away immediately and slapped Jessica back, right in the face. Jessica gasped slowly.
"You supernaturals….you haven't even seen your powers yet and you think a name can faze me. When you get your powers! When you get your powers on the full moon, then you can come for revenge, I'll be waiting." She eyed them and walked out. Cherry followed her immediately.
"Did that b*tch just slap me?" Jessica gasped shockingly, her palm rubbing her cheek.
"Don't worry. We'll take our revenge. It's just in two weeks time." Davina's brow furrowed.
"I wish your brother could just burn them with that fire of his." Jessica blurted and Davina turned to look at her.
"Do you want him to lose his Powers?" She asked immediately, eyeing her.
"That fiery power was a gift given to him before his real powers unfolds. If he uses it for evil before his powers come out, he will lose everything. Just calm down and wait for the full moon in two weeks, you brick head." Davina snapped and walked away angrily. Jessica sighed and followed her closely too.

Havana followed the map till she got to the hidden garden in the school. She still has twenty minutes before her next class and she was going to spend it here, alone. She smiled as a bird flew to her arms the moment she sat down. It was nature, nature was beauty, nature meant her. Beautiful butterflies came out from all over and stayed on the flowers, creating a beautiful scenery.
The canary bird started singing with it's high pitched birdy voice and she smiled in the silence of every other thing. It was asif every thing stopped just to hear the bird sing. But suddenly, there were footsteps, the butterflies no where to be found immediately, the bird left her hands and flew up above, disappearing above the tallest building in the school.
And then the person walked in.
"Didn't I just see a bird?" It was Cherry. She had come here to have some fun time and seeing a bird frightened her. It was unheard of in the school.
"Are you blind? Anyone could tell that was a bird, of course." Havana shot, angry that the animals left of Cherry.
"That's it. How can a bird…." Cherry's voice trailed off slowly and Havana furrowed her brows. There was something wrong.
"What's it? What is wrong?" She asked slowly as she got curious and Cherry looked at her.
"Animals can't come into the school. It is forbidden." She replied.
"Why?"
"Because it is one of the qualities of a witch's power. Ability to control nature's favorite animals." Cherry said and Havana scoffed.
"Isn't this a supernatural school? How come the power of the witches are now absent?" She muttered as she dipped her hands into her bag, bringing out the school manual and she opened it.
"Because…." Cherry started and Havana stopped to look at her.
"Even in this school, witches are ….demons."
"What?" A smirk played on Havana's lips for a while before her face got serious.
"So the witches are both despised in the normal world and here, underground?" She asked and Cherry nodded.
"Why?" She asked.
"What are you guys doing in the garden when it is five minutes to your class?" A teacher suddenly came out from the flowers behind them.
"Were you hiding in there all these while…..sir?" Cherry asked.
"Did you do anything to be afraid of? I am the plants science teacher, aren't I?" The man asked. Havana rolled her eqyes, sighing boringly as she carried her bag and walked out. The walk from the garden to the class would take her at least that five minutes.
She came out from the short gate made from plants, that led into the garden. Just then, Cherry stopped beside her, with a bike. A power bike rather.
"Where's your bike?" She asked Havana who gave a puzzled look.
"You didn't come with it? No wonder you came late for the class. Hop on, you'll be late for this class to if you don't."
"I never knew there was a bike."
"Then you have to quickly read your manual." Cherry replied and passed her an helmet.
The class passed quickly. But, it was definitely more boring than all the other classes and Havana barely heard a thing except when Cherry said she was glad that the supernaturals weren't having this class with them and when Ellie said she needed to ask the school's board for more makeup since she was not allowed to go out and since she paid more than enough as school fees.
Her mind was preoccupied with thoughts of why a witch couldn't be accepted in a school that accepted all supernaturals. Why nature's loving animals was classified as a witch's power. She smirked….. why weren't the supernaturals having this class right now? What would they be doing? She stood up immediately and carried her bag, walking to the door.
"Excuse me sir." She said and tried opening the door, it wouldn't budge.
"No one leaves till the class is over, new girl." The teacher said and Havana sighed.
"I'm pressed." She said.
"There is a toilet in every class." He smiled and pointed at the door, at the back of everyone sitting.
"I easily get infected though. What to do? I need to get to my room." She smiled.
"This school is magically cleaned day by day, minute by minute. You can't even find a speck of dust in here, Havana." The man pointed out .
"Okay." She said as she walked back to her seat and sat down, looking outside the window again.

Cherry and Havana hopped down from the bike, while Ellie came down from hers too. That was when Havana saw her black bike, packed in the lawn few steps away. She scoffed and walked away, going into the house.
"Aah." Cherry sighed as she jumped on the sofa immediately, resting her back.
Havana walked towards the stairs immediately too, as she wanted to get into her room.
"Have dinner with us." Ellie said and Cherry sat up immediately, hoping Havana would just say yes.
"No. I'm not hungry." She said.
"But you didn't have lunch." Cherry pointed out and that was when Havana remembered that she hadn't eaten anything today.
"How did you know that I didn't have lunch?" She asked instead.
"I was with you in the garden remember? That was lunch time." Cherry replied and Havana sighed.
"I'm still not hungry." She said and made to go up.
"Hey." She called and Cherry looked up.
"About the witches…. Nevermind." She changed her mind about asking. It was not her concern.
"I'll tell you…if you come for dinner. It's in ten minutes." Cherry smiled and Havana turned, disappearing after the stairs.
"What was that all about?" Ellie asked.
"I saw a bird in the garden. It was so strange." Cherry said.
"Don't think much about it. Everyone knows birds can't be found here, they are forbidden. They don't even come in. You probably mistook something else for a bird." Ellie said.
"I thought I did…but.. Havana saw it too." Cherry replied.
"What?" Ellie muttered.
"She's a new student, it wouldn't matter much to her. Is the bird gone?" She asked.
"Of course. It was leaving when I saw it. It can't survive in here." Cherry replied.
"It probably mistakenly came in here." Ellie muttered and Cherry blinked, pursing her lips.

Ten minutes later, Cherry and Ellie were back to the sitting room. Dinner was ready.
Cook?
They mostly didn't cook, the foods were made by some chefs or maybe magicians somewhere and was brought to them. But whenever they felt like cooking, they did.
Havana slowly came down the stairs in a black singlet and shorts.
"The night is chilly. Can't you feel it?" Cherry muttered as she sat down.
"It isn't for me." Havana said.
"Aiish…you act like a local girl. Just act like the rich pampered girl you are, please." Ellie said and Havana looked at her.
"I'm not rich. Didn't you hear, I am here on a scholarship." She pointed out and Ellie dropped the fork that she had already carried.
"Well, even the scholarships student here are rich to some extent, if not how would they get the form for the scholarship?" Cherry asked.
"I had to work for it. I'm an orphan so no one would even help me." Havana pointed out and started eating.
"So? Some orphans has indisputable inheritance, left from their parents." Ellie said.
"Well, I don't even know my parents." Havana said and Cherry and Ellie blinked slowly.
"Then why didn't you just take the test!" Ellie shot.
"What does that have to do with this?" Havana asked.
"The Veil. You are poor and you are an orphan. You would have enjoyed a life of privileges if you had been a supernatural." Cherry said.
"But I'm not a supernatural, I don't have any powers." She pointed out.
"Did you think you'll see the powers now?" Ellie shot.
"You will." Havana said and they both looked at her.
"What do you mean?" They asked.
"You will feel it if you have powers."
"Do you feel it?" Ellie asked, coming forward as she slowly stood up from her chair and Havana moved back slowly.
"No." Havana said.
"Aish!" Ellie hit her hand on the table and sat down back on her chair, folding her hands.
"How I wish you did. I can't imagine living a poor life. I'm rich and yet, I still suffer this much in Royale, imagining being poor. You just needed to have the powers, Havana. You don't know how beautiful The Veil's mansions are." Ellie said and smiled dreamily.
"We went on an excursion there…
"Excursion?" Havana chuckled. It was ridiculous, an excursion to your sister mansion in the same school?
"Yes." Cherry pursed her lips. She knew it was ridiculous too, but that was the best they could get out of coming to this school.
"The mansions were so beautiful, super and they were only two to a house. Some people are one. A mansion to themselves. But when they came to ours, it was a different story. They claimed they puked." Ellie waved her hand over her face as if she was irritated and Havana smiled slowly.
"You look better when you smile." Cherry noticed and she stopped.
"Where is the Veil's mansion as you call it?" She asked instead and Ellie pointed, turning back.
"Over there." She said and they all stood up going to the open window.
"You see the horizon over there. That's the real veil. It's like a shield that protects the world from seeing them. Even we can't see the buildings till the veil is uncovered." Cherry said.
"So they usually uncover the veil?" Havana asked and they nodded.
"Oh well, I think they just did that right now."
"What?" Ellie asked, confused.
"What!!" She screamed when she understood it and she turned there. There were no buildings and all she could see was the horizon. Same as Cherry.
"Blue mansions, with red lights." Havana scoffed and Cherry and Ellie gulped. She was right.
"We aren't seeing anything, Havana." Cherry said.
"What do you mean? I'm seeing it all." Havana said.
"Davian is outside smoking, right now." She smirked wider.
"Can't you see?" She muttered.
"We can't. The veil is there, Havana."
