Chapter 110: The Hunt
"I am Venerable Feng, and I am here to take your life today!" a voice rang out as an elderly man and a young man appeared in the sky.
The Scorpion Dragon Beast scanned the two, its gaze ultimately settling on Venerable Feng. It sensed a faint but undeniable pressure emanating from the old man.
"A Dou Zun?" the Scorpion Dragon Beast exclaimed, filled with terror. Although it was only two levels below a Dou Zun, the gap between them was as vast as heaven and earth.
With a serious expression, the Scorpion Dragon Beast asked, "Venerable One, I have no quarrel with you. Why do you seek to kill me?"
"I need your blood essence," Venerable Feng replied indifferently. His robe fluttered without wind, and the space around him rippled like water. A vast power spread out, causing the surrounding rocks to shatter and disintegrate into fine sand.
The Scorpion Dragon Beast threatened, "I am of the Scorpion Dragon Clan. Do you really want to make an enemy of us?"
"Even if you were of the true Dragon Clan, I would still kill you," Venerable Feng said, extending his hand towards the beast.
"Spatial Crush!" he commanded. The space around the Scorpion Dragon Beast began to warp and fold, creating dark fissures.
"Crack!"
One of the beast's wings was caught in a spatial fold, snapped off, and swallowed by the dark fissures.
"Roar!" The Scorpion Dragon Beast howled and prepared to attack, but more folds appeared around it, devouring parts of its body with each occurrence. Eventually, even its head was consumed.
Despite its strength as an eight-star Dou Zong, the Scorpion Dragon Beast couldn't even fight back against a Dou Zun.
After killing the beast, Venerable Feng waved his hand, and the severed limbs were retrieved from the spatial fissures. Xiao Tian stepped forward, extracted the magic core, and collected the blood essence from the corpse.
Afterward, Xiao Tian summoned a spatial gate and said, "Venerable Feng, let's go."

In a huge valley seemingly carved out of a giant peak, the dark rocks glistened with a metallic sheen. This was the location of Demon Flame Valley.
After leaving the Fallen God Ravine, Xiao Tian and Venerable Feng used a spatial gate to travel to the Black-Corner Region.
Hovering in the air, Xiao Tian shouted, "Earth Demon Old Ghost, come out and face your death!"
"Who dares to cause trouble in Demon Flame Valley?" Several figures flew out from below, rushing toward Xiao Tian.
"Scram!" Xiao Tian waved his sleeve, releasing a powerful force that sent them flying, spitting blood.
An elderly voice echoed, "What business do you have with me?"
An old man with blood-red hair, clad in a yellow robe adorned with skulls, stepped into the air. His gaunt face resembled a skull, and his sunken eyes glowed eerily like ghost fires.
Venerable Feng spoke calmly, "To take your life!" He raised his hand and grasped at the space in front of him.
The Earth Demon Old Ghost felt his body freeze, trapped by spatial power, unable to move.
"Break free!" he roared, surging his cultivation power, but he couldn't disperse the spatial power.
"Dou... Dou Zun?" The Earth Demon Old Ghost's eyes filled with terror as he realized his opponent's strength.
"Correct, but there's no reward," Xiao Tian said, stepping forward. He condensed his different flames into a spike and pierced the Earth Demon Old Ghost's forehead.
One of the Black-Corner Region's overlords vanished from the world.
Xiao Tian collected the corpse and asked Venerable Feng, "Do you want to return, or...?"
"I want to see how you revive someone," Venerable Feng replied.
"Alright," Xiao Tian nodded. "I need to refine a pill first, but I must clean up here first."
He grabbed a Dou Huang from Demon Flame Valley and commanded, "Take me to your treasury!"
"Yes, sir!" the man responded without hesitation, knowing he had no choice against a Dou Zong and a Dou Zun.
Led by the Dou Huang, Xiao Tian entered a tunnel ending at a heavy stone door.
"This treasure vault can only be opened by our ancestor," the Dou Huang explained.
Xiao Tian clenched his fist and punched the door.
"Boom!"
The door shattered, revealing a dazzling light from within.
"There's a fifth-tier magical beast inside," the Dou Huang warned.
"That's fine. You can go," Xiao Tian replied.
"Thank you, sir," the man said, quickly leaving.
As Xiao Tian stepped through the door, a foul wind blew towards him. He grabbed the attacking mouth effortlessly.
"Hiss hiss!"
It was a large snake-like magical beast at the Dou Wang level.
"This could be useful for Qing Lin," Xiao Tian thought, releasing his aura and warning the beast, "Move again, and I'll kill you."
Understanding his words, the beast froze.
Xiao Tian tossed it aside and began inspecting the treasury. Shelves held numerous scrolls, and crystal cabinets contained rare herbs.
"Quite a collection," Xiao Tian smiled, knowing these treasures were now his. Killing and looting was indeed a quick way to wealth.
He started collecting the treasures, eventually reaching four ancient wooden boxes on a bookshelf.
Opening the first box, he found two silver scrolls containing mid-level Earth attribute techniques and Dou Skills.
The second box held a red scroll labeled "True Flame Art," a method for creating fake different flames.
The remaining two boxes contained a fist-sized red bead and a gray bamboo slip, a seventh-tier magical beast core, and the method for crafting a Sky Demon Puppet.
