In a spacious stone chamber, Little Doctor Immortal stood staring blankly at a flowerbed in the corner, filled with rare and precious high-grade medicinal herbs.
"Shasha~" Suddenly, the sound of footsteps caught her attention. She quickly hid and, as soon as the intruders entered, threw a bag of poison.
"Bang!" The poison powder spread, enveloping two mercenaries who instantly collapsed. Fortunately, it was only a sleeping poison and not something lethal.
"Whoosh whoosh whoosh!" Several dark figures swiftly entered, surrounding Little Doctor Immortal.
"Little Doctor Immortal, thank you for leading the way. It seems the information I got was indeed correct!" A smug voice echoed as a handsome young man walked in.
"Mu Li!" Seeing him, Little Doctor Immortal gritted her teeth and said, "You followed me?"
Mu Li shrugged and smiled, "It wasn't exactly following. I got this information a few days ago, but didn't know the exact location."
"I only mentioned this to Liffy. You bribed her?" Little Doctor Immortal was furious.
"She's a fool. With just a few sweet words, she not only gave herself to me but also told me everything," Mu Li sneered. He then looked at Little Doctor Immortal affectionately and said, "You know how I feel about you. Once my Wolf Head Mercenary Group gets these treasures, we'll easily dominate Qingshan Town and even the cities. Then, you won't be just a small doctor, but the lady of a powerful force."
"Pah! You disgust me even when you speak," Little Doctor Immortal retorted.
Mu Li's eyes narrowed with a trace of coldness, "It's okay. I'll keep you by my side by force."
He then waved his hand and ordered, "Capture her, but don't hurt her. She's my chosen woman."
"Clap clap clap!" Just as the mercenaries were about to move, applause came from outside.
"Who's there?" Mu Li and his men looked out. A very handsome young man walked in with his hands behind his back—it was Xiao Tian.
Mu Li, uncertain, asked, "How did you get in here?"
"You're wondering about the men you left outside?" Xiao Tian chuckled, "I killed them."
He glanced around the stone chamber and shook his head, "So many men bullying one woman. Aren't you ashamed?"
"I don't believe you. Kill him!" Mu Li commanded. Despite their hesitation, the mercenaries charged at Xiao Tian.
"Why bother?" Xiao Tian sighed. Suddenly, a strange azure flame appeared in his hand. Anyone who touched the flame instantly turned to ash.
"This...this..." The scene left everyone speechless with fear.
"Whoosh!" Mu Li tried to escape, but Xiao Tian struck him from a distance, turning him into a blood mist.
"Plop! Plop!" The remaining mercenaries knelt, begging, "Please, spare us! We won't dare do this again."
"You scum can go to hell," Xiao Tian said coldly, controlling the Green Lotus Core Flame to consume them all. He wasn't merciful just because they were weak.
After dealing with them, Xiao Tian turned to Little Doctor Immortal. She wore a light white dress, her beautiful face adorned with a gentle smile, exuding a fresh and ethereal aura. What stood out most was her slim, delicate waist tied with a green ribbon.
Feeling Xiao Tian's gaze, Little Doctor Immortal's hidden hand gripped a packet of poison. But seeing he made no further moves, she smiled and said, "Thank you for saving me."
Xiao Tian raised an eyebrow, "Is a verbal thank you all I get?"
"The treasures here, I'm willing to share them with you," she quickly offered. Though reluctant, she knew his terrifying strength meant he could take everything if he wanted.
"Alright then, I won't be polite," Xiao Tian said, collecting an Ice Spirit Flame Grass from the flowerbed under her watchful eyes. He also took some herbs he needed.
Xiao Tian liked beauties but wasn't lecherous. After collecting the herbs, he walked to the stone chair, retrieving a quarter of the Demon Fire map from the skeleton's arm. He then picked up three keys and headed towards the stone table.
Little Doctor Immortal came over. Xiao Tian opened the stone box, revealing a colorful Poison Scripture, a high-level Xuan class flying Dou Technique called Purple Cloud Wings, and a high-level Xuan class soundwave Dou Technique called Roaring Lion's Roar.
Little Doctor Immortal picked up the Poison Scripture and said, "I'll just take this."
"Since you discovered this place, the flying Dou Technique is yours," Xiao Tian said, tossing her the flying technique scroll.
"Are you sure? This technique allows flight," she asked, surprised.
"I don't need it," Xiao Tian said, "I'm already a Dou Wang."
"You...you're a Dou Wang?" Little Doctor Immortal was incredulous. He looked about her age.
"Whoosh!" Xiao Tian summoned his Dou Qi wings and smiled, "See, these are my Dou Qi wings."
"Wow, you really are a Dou Wang!" Her mouth formed an O shape in amazement.
After dividing the treasures, she hesitated at the flowerbed, lacking containers for the herbs.
"Here, use these jade bottles and a storage ring," Xiao Tian said, handing them to her.
"Thank you," she smiled and started collecting the herbs.
Once she gathered all the herbs, they headed outside together.
