Chapter 25: The Beauty Trap?
Returning to Yan City, Xiao Tian and Xia Wanjin headed straight for the central Myriad Gold Auction House.
"Greetings, President!"
As they approached, the auction house guards saluted respectfully. Xia Wanjin nodded and escorted Xiao Tian inside. The auction house was divided into two sections: the outer area, which was large but mostly dealt with common goods, and the inner area, where the real treasures were auctioned.
Ordinarily, entering the inner section required a payment of ten Yang Yuan stones, but with Xia Wanjin accompanying him, Xiao Tian naturally didn't need to pay. As soon as they entered, Xiao Tian noticed two particularly striking figures ahead.
One was a woman in a red dress. Her skin was as white as snow, and her peach-blossom-like face carried a graceful and dignified smile that was particularly captivating. Although she appeared to be of the same age as a young woman in her prime, her full curves and elegant posture gave her a mature charm that was alluring.
Next to the woman in red was a tall woman in a green dress. She was also very beautiful, but her slightly similar yet colder features made her look less approachable. Compared to the former, she seemed quite young but had her own unique appeal. Together, these two women were like a pair of stunning sisters, attracting a lot of attention.
"Father!"
Seeing Xia Wanjin, the woman in green hurried over. The woman in red also greeted him, "Brother-in-law!"
"Xuan Su, Zilan." Xia Wanjin nodded and introduced them to Xiao Tian, "This is Young Master Xiao Tian, a powerful figure from a great force beyond the Great Flame Dynasty. His strength is far superior to mine."
He then introduced the two women to Xiao Tian, "Young Master Xiao Tian, this is my wife's sister, Xuan Su, and my daughter, Xia Zilan."
"Greetings, Young Master Xiao." Both women bowed, looking at Xiao Tian with curiosity and amazement. Despite his young appearance, his strength exceeded Xia Wanjin's, indicating he was a Creation Realm expert. Such talent even made the proud Xia Zilan feel inferior.
"Greetings, ladies." Xiao Tian nodded slightly.
"Master Xiao, there are too many people here. Let us move to the VIP room," suggested Xia Wanjin.
"Alright." Xiao Tian agreed.
"Please follow me, sir," Xia Wanjin said, leading the way. They all moved to a VIP room, where Xia Wanjin invited Xiao Tian to sit in the main seat while he took a lower position. This gesture surprised Xuan Su and Xia Zilan.
Xia Wanjin explained, "Our Myriad Gold Merchant Association is now under Master Xiao's protection. You two must show him the utmost respect."
"Yes," the women responded, though their heaving chests betrayed their inner turmoil.
"Earlier, some high-ranking members of the Blood Wolf Gang foolishly provoked Master Xiao and were exterminated," Xia Wanjin told them. "I must now lead our men to take over the Blood Wolf Gang's assets. You two stay here and attend to Master Xiao. Fulfill any of his requests. Do you understand?"
"Yes," the two women replied, though they felt uneasy. What did their father (or brother-in-law) mean by "fulfill any requests"? Did he expect them to use their charms?
Though Xiao Tian was young, handsome, and powerful, asking them to seduce him together seemed outrageous. Should they resist or submit if it came to that? Both women blushed deeply at the thought, looking incredibly alluring.
Seeing this, Xia Wanjin stood up and said to Xiao Tian, "Please rest here, Master Xiao. If you need anything, just let them know. I will now go and eliminate the remnants of the Blood Wolf Gang."
"Go ahead," Xiao Tian waved dismissively. After Xia Wanjin left, Xiao Tian turned his gaze to Xuan Su. She reminded him a lot of Ya Fei—both were auction house supervisors, loved red dresses, and were extraordinarily beautiful, exuding a mature elegance.
Noticing Xiao Tian's scrutiny, Xuan Su's eyes sparkled as she smiled, "Master Xiao."
"Miss Xuan Su, I need some materials to aid in soul cultivation. Can you help me find them?" asked Xiao Tian.
"Certainly," Xuan Su nodded, then turned to Xia Zilan. "Zilan, go and assist Master Xiao…"
"You both go," Xiao Tian interrupted.
"Yes, sir." The two women were taken aback but quickly complied and left the VIP room. Once they were out of earshot, Xia Zilan sighed with relief, "Aunt Xuan, that scared me! I thought I was going to lose my virtue today. How could Father ask us to do such a thing?"
"A necessity, I suppose," Xuan Su explained. "After all, even someone as strong as Yue Shan, who was on par with your father, was killed. If your father didn't submit, he might have faced the same fate."
Xia Zilan gritted her teeth, "It's so frustrating. The Myriad Gold Merchant Association now belongs to someone else."
"This world works that way. With strength, you can have everything," Xuan Su said pragmatically. "Moreover, having a strong backer might be beneficial for the association. We're about to take over the Blood Wolf Gang, aren't we?"
"But it won't be our family controlling the association anymore!" Xia Zilan still felt troubled.
Xuan Su smiled, "You could marry Master Xiao. You're your father's only daughter and will have to marry someday. If you marry Master Xiao, you'll still have a say in the association."
"Aunt, stop teasing me!" Xia Zilan blushed even more but secretly thought that marrying Xiao Tian might not be so bad.
"If I weren't older, I'd consider a hero like him too!" Xuan Su teased back.
Xia Zilan retorted, "If it's so great, why don't you marry him? People already think we're sisters because we look so young!"
"Well, let's be 'sisters' then," Xuan Su said meaningfully.
Unaware of their thoughts, Xiao Tian, if he were interested in the two women, wouldn't marry them but might keep them as concubines. He believed only those with exceptional beauty, talent, and background like Xun'er, Ice Master, or Qing Yanjing deserved to be his primary wife.
