"Liam," She said, when she made her way downstairs.
"Hi, Adriana," He handed her the key immediately.
"Thank you," she smiled.
There was an awkward silence. Each one waiting for the other to speak.
"Daven asked me to apologize for wasting time. His mother is in quite a bad condition."
"When will he come?" She knew she had to be asking all the right questions. She has no phone for safety reasons.
Any info about Daven had to be gotten from Liam.
"I don't know when exactly. But I'm afraid it's not any time soon."
Silence.
"I need to leave. Please take care," He said before turning on his heels.
Ady went back to the apartment, packed all what they'll need for the trip and put them in the car. Then continued waiting for Daven.
It was past noon. Daven was still nowhere to be found.
