Adriana's eyes opened to Daven clutching her hands tightly as if his life depended on it.
"Shush, You'll be fine! Please, you can't leave me." He cried. Sweatbeads filled his forehead and tears were threatening to fall.
They were in an ambulance, rushing towards the hospital while the nurses tried their best to give her first aid.
A weak smile crept on her face when she spotted Chris's daughter sitting in the vehicle.
"We did it," she was battling to keep her eyes open.
She could still clearly remember what happened and how it happened.
She had taken the girl away from that kidnapper, and when she was about to raise alarm, he shot her, then entered his car and zoomed off.
