The tall house made with nothing but wood, stood in the middle of nowhere.
Well, not nowhere. It was however very far from town, isolated and in the middle of long oak trees.
Daven wondered why Eric had to come this far to hide Adriana. But then, he doesn't blame him.

After their father chased them, he hailed a cab and asked the driver to follow Eric's cab all the way here.
