Chapter 50: Against Medusas
"The fuck do you want me to do?!" Nith asked.
"Give me a moment!" Medusa replied, suddenly turning red and looking down. "I've never bitten someone gently!"
Nith twisted his face in confusion.
Meanwhile, Medusa contemplated her next move for a minute or so before leaning toward his neck and parting her lips wide. She gently filled her mouth with his tender nape, munching on it as her long teeth sank into his flesh.
Her unique venom entered Nith's system. His absolute protection against any poison prevented her from affecting him, which forced her to stay glued to Nith for longer than she wanted.
Only when Nith allowed her to poison him to some extent did Medusa's venom work on him, capturing his mind and connecting it to her heart.
Outside, their bodies stood still as if petrified or transformed into stone monuments.
