Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Fall From Grace

Aria Dawson has lived a life of luxury, enjoying the comforts of being the cherished daughter of a wealthy family. She's spent her whole life being admired, adored, and given everything she could ever want. However, one morning, her entire world shatters when the real heiress of the Dawson fortune—Sophia—returns, and it's revealed that Aria was switched at birth. Sophia's arrival strips Aria of everything—her home, her status, her friends, and even her ex-boyfriend, Michael, who immediately starts to pursue the real heiress.

Heartbroken and feeling betrayed by everyone she thought cared about her, Aria is sent back to her biological family, where she expects to find poverty and hardship.

To Aria's shock, her biological family turns out to be even wealthier and more powerful than the Dawsons. Her real parents, the Winters, are titans of the global economy, with a secretive empire that makes the Dawson fortune look insignificant. Aria is welcomed with open arms into her true family's vast estate and luxurious life, but she finds it hard to trust again.

Her newfound wealth comes with the recognition that her previous relationships were shallow. She vows to never let herself be vulnerable again. When Michael and her fake family come crawling back, begging for forgiveness, Aria coldly shuts them out, determined to build a life that no one else can control.

Just as Aria begins to settle into her new role as the true heiress of the Winters empire, a stranger arrives—a handsome and mysterious man named Sebastian. He kneels before her, presenting her with the famous Winston Legacy ring, and claims that they were engaged a year ago. He insists they slept together, and she promised to take responsibility for him.

Caught off-guard by the audacity of his claims, Aria doesn't remember ever meeting Sebastian, let alone making such a promise. But his confidence and connection to the wealthy elite make her question whether there's more to the story than she recalls.
