"I guess I don't need to show you which stars have been obscured by dyson spheres?"
Rosy asked surprised.
"No, I can see that there should be more stars. Are you saying that there are that many stars whose energy has been harnessed to power humanity's growth? Do they use dyson spheres?"
It was hard for Gordon to imagine that a structure large enough to surround a star could truly be built. Doubtful.
"Yes, dyson spheres leach the energy from most stars in the universe. But you should understand that a dyson spheres are not true spheres. Well maybe it had to be an opaque sphere when they were first theorized. But with an efficient design a fully functioning dyson sphere only needs twenty freely floating satellites orbiting a star to completely absorb the energy coming from that star."
Rosy explained how it was possible and then went on.
