"So you know who I am, yet your Cult dared to attack my followers and instigate this whole conflict between our groups? I was even kind enough to offer your people salvation after death, yet you spat on my kindness and responded with violence." 

As Lucius said this, Archbishop Antonio narrowed his eyes and tightened his grip on his scepter.

'This isn't what I was told by those Deacons! Damnit! Why did those incompetent fools have to bring the Cult into this mess?!' Couldn't they have delayed the whole thing until he came out of seclusion and they figured out just what they were up against?

He could feel anger rising within himself, but there was no outlet for it.

All the Bishops were dead.

His Deacons were as good as dead, and the rest of his followers would soon suffer the same fate.

'I've been left all alone to clean up this mess! Damnit!'

What could he say in response? What was the correct answer in this instance?
