"Haaa… haa…"
Lady Hildegard's knees buckled, and she sank to the ground, her hands clasping at her chest. She could feel the suffocating weight of his aura pressing down on her, sapping her strength.
Tears welled in her eyes as she whispered,
"Please… don't…"
Lucius tilted his head, his expression devoid of pity. "You dared to stand against me, to conspire with those who sought my destruction. Did you truly think there would be no consequence?"
Luca rose to his feet, watching silently as his master loomed over the trembling woman. The passageway was silent, save for the faint hum of residual energy still lingering in the air.
Lucius's voice dropped to a chilling whisper.
"You will answer for your sins, Lady Hildegard. There is no mercy for those who oppose the Lord of the Dead."
Lucius loomed over her, his darkening eyes burning with cold malice.
