The bunker was finally secure, and the algorithm had been shut down just in time. But as Nyla and Zane regrouped, the weight of their victory felt hollow. The countdown to disaster had been narrowly avoided, but Solas's presence still loomed large.
Back at the resistance HQ, the debriefing was tense. Zane's expression was grim as he presented the findings from the bunker.
"We stopped the countdown, but there's no guarantee that we've seen the last of Solas's plans," Zane said, pointing to a series of encrypted files on the screen. "There are layers to this system—fail-safes and backups we haven't even scratched the surface of."
Nyla crossed her arms, her mind racing. "So even with Solas gone, the algorithm could still be active?"
"Parts of it, yes," Zane admitted. "It's designed to operate independently of him. There's a network of underground servers—hidden locations around the world—that could still be executing his orders."
General Aria leaned forward. "So we have to find and shut down every node."
"Exactly," Zane said. "If we don't, these systems could be reactivated by anyone with the right access. Solas might be dead, but his influence is still woven into the fabric of our world."
Nyla nodded. "Then we keep moving. We take down every one of these hidden bunkers. We can't afford to leave anything behind."
