As Kelsie straightened up, Laura's gaze darted across the confused faces of everyone in the room.
Mistaking their confusion to not knowing Kelsie was in their midst, she quickly concluded she had pointed out something they weren't aware of and grew bolder.
She dropped her handbag on the desk beside her and folded her arms across her chest, her left brow moving up provocatively as she stared at Kelsie.
"What's wrong? Why aren't you saying anything? You must have slipped in with them to learn new things from Prof. Callahan."
"If your intent was to learn new things from her, then doesn't that mean you already know a few things about neurosurgery and are looking to expand your knowledge?"
Kelsie scoffed in irritation.
"Laura, are you diverting everyone's attention to me now? Why? Is it because you can't figure out the answer to Prof. Callahan's question?"
Laura instantly stiffened.
