Kelsie paused and glanced back at him.
"What?"
The man slipped both hands into his pocket as he repeated, "Be my bodyguard. The equivalent of my life that I just sent to you is what I'll pay you every month."
She glanced at the credit alert again and scoffed.
"If this is the equivalent of your life, how is it you still have another to spare in one month? Shouldn't the equivalent of your life be everything you have?"
A small smile creased his lips as he shook his head in refusal.
"My skill and family is worth a lot, but as a person, that's all I'm worth. But if you accept to be my bodyguard, the worth of my life would surely increase and so will your salary."
Kelsie slipped the phone into the pocket, not bothering to think about the offer as she shook her head in refusal.
"I'm not fit enough to be your bodyguard."
