Chapter 6 - Exploring the Agency

Kiro stood in awe as he took in the bustling atmosphere of the Soul Weaver Agency headquarters. The air was charged with energy, and everywhere he looked, there were Soul Weavers engaged in various activities—training, strategizing, and discussing missions. He felt a sense of purpose swell within him, but also a hint of intimidation.Gohan led Kiro and Jason through the expansive hallways, pointing out different departments along the way. "This is the training wing," he said, gesturing to a large open area where Soul Weavers practiced combat techniques. "Here, you'll learn everything from basic swordsmanship to advanced soul manipulation."Kiro watched as a group of trainees sparred, their swords clashing with sparks flying. The intensity of their focus inspired him. He couldn't wait to join them.As they continued walking, Gohan introduced them to various departments. "Over there is the Research Division," he said, nodding toward a room filled with scholars poring over ancient texts and artifacts. "They study Hito behavior and gather intelligence on emerging threats."Kiro's curiosity piqued. "Do they ever find out where Hitos come from?""Sometimes," Gohan replied. "But many of their origins remain a mystery. That's why we need to stay vigilant."They passed by a room where Soul Weavers were gathered around holographic displays, analyzing data on recent Hito activity. Kiro noticed a few familiar faces among them—Mako was deep in discussion with another Soul Weaver, her expression serious."That's the Strategy Room," Gohan explained. "This is where we plan missions and coordinate our efforts against Hitos."As they walked further into the headquarters, Kiro felt a mix of excitement and anxiety about what lay ahead. He was about to become part of something much larger than himself.Suddenly, they entered a training area that was quieter than the others. In one corner, Kiro spotted a tall figure practicing alone—a woman with long black hair tied back in a ponytail and striking blue eyes that seemed to see right through him."This is Reina," Gohan said, introducing her. "She's one of our top trainers and specializes in combat tactics."Reina paused her training and turned to face them, her expression shifting from focus to curiosity. "So you're the new recruit everyone's talking about," she said with a slight smirk. "I hope you're ready for some real training."Kiro felt a rush of adrenaline at her words. "I'm ready! I want to learn everything I can."Reina nodded approvingly. "Good attitude. Just remember: it won't be easy."As they moved on, Kiro caught sight of another group gathered around a table covered in maps and documents. A young man with messy brown hair and glasses was animatedly discussing strategies with his peers."That's Taro, our field strategist," Gohan explained. "He's brilliant when it comes to planning missions."Kiro approached Taro, who looked up with an eager smile. "Hey! You must be Kiro! I've heard about your fight against the Umbra! Impressive work!""Thanks!" Kiro replied, feeling his confidence rise.Taro leaned in closer, lowering his voice conspiratorially. "If you ever need help understanding Hito patterns or strategies for your test, I'm your guy!""Appreciate it!" Kiro said, grateful for the support. As they continued exploring the agency, Kiro felt increasingly at home among these dedicated individuals who shared his newfound purpose. Each person he met brought unique skills and experiences that enriched his understanding of what it meant to be a Soul Weaver.Eventually, Gohan led them to a large training room filled with various weapons and training dummies. "This will be your primary training area," he announced.Kiro's eyes widened as he took in the sight of gleaming swords and shields lining the walls. He could already envision himself honing his skills here."Tomorrow starts your official training regimen," Gohan continued. "You'll learn combat techniques and how to channel your will more effectively."Jason looked around in awe as well. "This place is incredible! I can't believe you get to train here."Kiro nodded enthusiastically. "I know! It feels like I'm finally where I belong."As they prepared to leave the training room, Mako approached them with a smile. "I see you've been exploring! Are you ready for tomorrow?""Absolutely!" Kiro replied eagerly."Good," Mako said, her tone turning serious for a moment. "Just remember: every encounter will teach you something valuable."With that final piece of advice echoing in his mind, Kiro felt ready to embrace whatever challenges lay ahead at the Soul Weaver Agency. As he walked alongside Jason and Mako through the bustling halls filled with purpose and determination, he knew that this was just the beginning of an incredible journey—one that would test his strength, resolve, and friendships like never before.
