"Hold on, Raven."
Brian's calm voice interrupted, stopping her mid-stride. "Killing him outright would be far too merciful, don't you think so?"
Brian stepped forward and grabbed the unconscious scientist's head with his right hand.
"Life transfer."
Brian activated his ability, and the scientist's vitality began draining rapidly into Brian's body. The transformation was swift and horrifying—his youthful features aged into those of a frail, decrepit old man within seconds.
By the time Brian was finished, the scientist was little more than a husk, his body barely clinging to life.
Brian stood upright, his expression unreadable. "Let's go," he said, leading Raven deeper into the lab.
As they moved through the sterile corridors, Raven couldn't help but notice the horrifying experiments taking place around them.
Various human tissues, organs, and even dismembered Mutant limbs floated in containers.
Behind the reinforced glass of several experimental areas, groups of scientists worked feverishly, conducting grotesque tests on these specimens.
There was no doubt that these human tissues came from the imprisoned Mutants.
The sight made Raven's blood boil. Her anger exploded as she rushed into the experimental areas. With her incredible agility and combat skills, she made quick work of the scientists inside, silencing them one by one.
Brian observed her actions without interference, a faint smirk on his face.
He had no sympathy for the humans who dared to treat Mutants as disposable guinea pigs. "They deserve it," he thought, watching Raven's fury in action. It was also an opportunity to sharpen her combat instincts.
Bang.
As they moved past another laboratory, Raven burst inside, her fury unchecked and her movements swift.
She was prepared to take down more scientists when one of them, trembling but determined, pulled a pistol from his pocket.
"You fucking Mutant, die!" the experimenter yelled, his voice cracking with both fear and adrenaline.
He fired.
At the exact moment the trigger was pulled, the blue scales on Raven's Mystique form shimmered and shifted. Her body morphed into the appearance of a young girl.
Bang.
The bullet pierced through her chest, directly hitting her lung. She staggered back slightly.
"I did it! I killed the mutant bitch!" the experimenter exclaimed, his face lighting up with triumph.
But his victory was short-lived.
As Raven staggered, her form shimmered once more, and she reverted to Mystique. The injury that had appeared fatal vanished along with her temporary disguise, leaving her completely unharmed.
Thanks to Brian's persistent and merciless sex 'training' all night and every night, she had reached a point where her shapeshifting power offered her remarkable resilience.
Not only could she eliminate fatigue after shapeshifting, but even injuries sustained in one form could vanish entirely when she shifted into another.
However, there was still one limitation: injuries inflicted on her natural Mystique form were permanent. No amount of shapeshifting could heal or remove those wounds.
"Impressive," Brian remarked, observing Raven's recovery.
The experimenter, now completely overwhelmed with fear, stumbled backward.
Bang.
Raven's movements were swift and fluid. With the grace of a gymnast, she spun in the air, turning three and a half times before delivering a devastating kick. The blow smashed the experimenter's head against the floor, silencing him instantly.
With the laboratory now cleared, Brian and Raven proceeded deeper into the facility.
They finally arrived at a reinforced room located at the heart of the laboratory.
A massive titanium alloy door blocked their path. Without hesitation, Brian raised his hand. Using Psychokinesis, he tore the door from its frame and cast it aside effortlessly.
As the door fell with a resounding crash, the scene inside made even Brian pause.
"...What the hell...?"
A young girl, entirely naked and bound to a laboratory table, lay before them.
Her body was a horrifying sight, covered in blood and riddled with steel needles inserted for invasive experiments.
The gruesome details didn't stop there. Her skull had been surgically opened, fully exposing her brain.
One by one, the thin probes pierced into the girl's brain.
The whole person was extremely miserable and dying.
Raven vomited directly upon seeing the horrifying scene.
Even Brian frowned.
He approached the experimental table, observing the girl closely. Then, using Psychokinesis, he carefully pulled out all the steel needles piercing her body.
However, Brian did not immediately heal the girl.
Instead, he leaned closer to examine her brain, focusing intently.
Tick-tick-tick
In just a moment, Brian had located the circuit responsible for the girl's mutant ability.
At the same time, Brian acquired the girl's ability:
The power to persuade others to obey her will through touch.
"Persuade others to obey you? Isn't this the ability of Wolverine Logan's wife, Silverfox, what was her name again? Kalla? Kayla?" Brian mused, glancing at the girl lying on the table.
Without hesitation, he raised his hand and made a small cut on his finger. A single drop of crystal-clear divine blood floated into the air before being gently guided into the girl's mouth by Brian's Psychokinesis.
Gulp.
As the girl swallowed Brian's blood, her entire body began to glow red. The injuries on her body healed at an astonishing speed. Even the open skull was restored completely within moments.
The girl sat up, her face full of excitement and gratitude. She looked at Brian as if he were her savior.
"Tell me your name," Brian said, looking at the girl with interest.
"M-My name is Kayla. I.. I also gave myself a Mutant code name: Silverfox."
Brian smiled slightly. It turned out to be Kayla Silverfox, the future wife of Wolverine Logan.
"Thank you for saving me. From now on, I am yours. May I know your name?"
Kayla Silverfox stepped down from the lab table, wrapping her arms around Brian, her face full of gratitude and longing.
Brian was momentarily taken aback. Isn't this more of an Eastern custom, giving oneself to a savior?
He glanced at Silverfox's figure. There was no denying it—her physique was impressive.
Well, sorry, Wolverine, Brian thought to himself. Looks like your wife is mine now.
Brian hugged Kayla Silverfox briefly and then opened his right hand. A white lab coat from the room floated through the air, draping itself over Kayla, covering her body.
"Kayla, where is the other Mutant?" Brian asked, glancing at her.
"The other Mutant is imprisoned in another part of the lab," Kayla responded.
Under her guidance, Brian made his way to the location of the second Mutant.
However, upon seeing this Mutant, Brian frowned slightly.
The individual had an unusually large head, protruding eyes, and a skin texture covered with irregular bumps. The entire appearance resembled that of a leprous toad.
Obviously, this was a Toad-like Mutant.
Brian completely lost interest in opening his brain.
The Toad-like Mutant was in a state as miserable as Silverfox Kayla—covered in blood, with both eyes removed. His entire appearance was pitiful.
Looking at the wretched state of the Toad Mutant, Brian casually tossed a drop of his blood toward him.
After swallowing the divine blood, the Toad-like Mutant's injuries healed rapidly. His body returned to its original state, and his eyes regenerated perfectly.
He looked at Brian with deep gratitude, his expression one of reverence, almost as if he were gazing upon a savior.
Feeling slightly repulsed by the Mutant's overly devoted gaze, Brian used Psychokinesis to blow off the top of the laboratory. Then, lifting the two rescued Mutants with his power, he brought them to the surface.
Above ground, the military base of Three Mile Island had been reduced to complete ruins.
Amid the destruction, Magneto stood with his arms outstretched, basking in the moment like a victorious king.
"Stop showing off, Magneto. We should head back," Brian said flatly, glancing at him.
"Ah—Are we leaving already?"
Magneto was still a little reluctant.
