Mia woke up to the sun shining brightly and a pair of arms secured around her. She smiled as she looked at the pale white arms, before her eyes moved to his face.
"Good morning," he greeted with a small smile.
"How long have you been awake?" She asked him.
"Long enough to watch you sleep and snore as well," he said, his smile widening.
"I didn't disturb your sleep, did I?" Mia asked, feeling embarrassed.
"Disturb?" Lysander frowned. He gently lifted Mia's chin with his finger, making their eyes meet. "There's nothing about you that I'll ever consider a disturbance."
Mia was moved by his words. No one had ever cared for her after her parents died. Well that was because she didn't have—well, she didn't know any other relatives apart from her parents so things weren't easy for her.
"Happy tears?" Lysander asked with a small smile, drawing her from thoughts. Mia didn't even know she was crying.
