"Besides I don't think Lysander will let them go, after what they did to Mia," Alaric shrugged as he waved a waiter over to pay his bill.
"Keep the change," he told the waiter as he got up to leave.
"That's not up to Lysander to decide," Elara yelled as Alaric walked away.
"I think it is," Alaric responded, without turning back to look at her.
He smirked when he heard her footsteps echoing behind him.
"Alaric!" Elara yelled as they walked out. The sound of the music was beginning to fade as they got to the car park.
"Yes darling," Alaric smirked, pulling his car keys out.
"This isn't funny," Elara said through gritted teeth, frustrated that he wasn't taking her seriously.
She needed to know where Dorian and Lyra were. She needed to know if they were safe. She wanted to know how Lysander was treating them, that is if he had them.
