Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: The Plan for Revenge

After the humiliating experience at the first real estate office, Dave wasn't about to waste time dwelling on it. He knew better than to let small-minded people stand in his way, especially now that he had the system backing him. The more he thought about the way he had been treated, the more determined he became. They looked down on him because of his appearance, his casual clothes, and the fact that he didn't fit their mold of a wealthy buyer. Well, he would show them just how wrong they were.

As he walked through the bustling city streets, his mind was already calculating the next move. Pulling out his phone, he did a quick search for other reputable real estate companies in the area. He wasn't about to let that first office spoil his mood or his goal. He would find another company—one that valued clients for their intent and not their appearance.

Within minutes, a promising option appeared on his screen. Regal Homes, a company known for its dedication to customer service and its reputation for integrity. Dave glanced through the reviews and found that unlike the previous company, Regal Homes prided itself on treating every client with the utmost respect. This would be a perfect place to make his first real estate purchase.

'Time to make things happen,' Dave thought with a smirk, making his way toward their office.

The Regal Homes building stood tall on a busy corner, its glass façade gleaming in the sunlight. The company's name was emblazoned in elegant lettering above the entrance, and the interior was modern, stylish, and welcoming—everything the previous place hadn't been. As he stepped through the doors, he felt a sense of relief wash over him. This was where he was meant to be.

Approaching the receptionist's desk, he was greeted with a warm smile. "Welcome to Regal Homes! How can I assist you today?" she asked, her tone cheerful and genuine.

"I'm looking to buy a house, and I'm ready to make the purchase today," Dave replied, keeping his voice confident but polite. He noticed her eyes light up, not with judgment or skepticism, but with enthusiasm.

"Of course! I'll connect you with one of our agents right away," the receptionist said, quickly tapping away on her computer. "Please have a seat; someone will be with you shortly."

Unlike the previous experience, Dave felt completely at ease here. There were no disapproving looks or dismissive attitudes—just professionalism and respect. Within minutes, a middle-aged man with a friendly smile approached him.

"Good afternoon! I'm Thomas," the man said as they shook hands. "I understand you're looking to buy a house?"

"Yes, I've found a few properties online, and I'm interested in something around $500,000," Dave explained, his tone steady.

Thomas didn't bat an eye. He simply nodded, pulling out his tablet and quickly pulling up a list of houses that fit Dave's description. The man was thorough and efficient, explaining the details of each property with genuine interest. They soon found a home that matched what Dave had in mind—a spacious, modern suburban house with a large backyard and a cozy interior.

"This looks perfect," Dave said, nodding as he reviewed the property details.

"Great choice!" Thomas replied, smiling as he led Dave to his office to finalize the deal. "We can start the paperwork right away."

The entire process was seamless. Thomas didn't question Dave's financial situation, nor did he make any assumptions based on his appearance. He treated Dave like any other serious buyer. Within an hour, the house was officially his. Dave transferred the funds without any issue, and Thomas congratulated him warmly.

"Welcome to your new home, Dave. If you need anything in the future, feel free to reach out," Thomas said, extending his hand.

"Thank you, Thomas. I appreciate your professionalism," Dave replied with a genuine smile.

As Dave walked out of the office, the weight of owning his first home began to sink in. It was a significant milestone—one that symbolized more than just property ownership. It was a step toward building his future on his own terms. But despite the satisfaction of his purchase, a different thought gnawed at the back of his mind—the company that had thrown him out earlier.

'I'm not one to let things slide so easily,' Dave thought, his expression darkening. He recalled the sneering faces, the dismissive tone in their voices. They think they can just brush me off like that? Not a chance.

His thoughts shifted from his new home to the revenge he would enact on the first real estate company. He had been disrespected and underestimated, but they would soon learn that messing with him was a grave mistake.

He knew that the key to any company's downfall was attacking its foundation—its finances and reputation. He began researching their financial status, looking into their business practices, and noting any weaknesses he could exploit. Within minutes, the system provided him with a comprehensive report on the company's financial health, recent transactions, and even some less-than-stellar reviews from disgruntled employees.

Dave's eyes gleamed as he read through the information. "This is almost too easy," he muttered to himself. He found several points of vulnerability—weak investments, pending lawsuits, and customer complaints that had been swept under the rug. With the right moves, he could bring the company to its knees.

Returning to his newly purchased home, Dave stood in front of the grand entrance, taking in the sight of his first major purchase. It was a two-story house with a beautiful garden, large windows that let in plenty of natural light, and enough space to expand if he ever wanted to. But as impressive as the house was, it felt like just another step along the path he was carving out for himself.

Walking through the halls of his new home, Dave felt an overwhelming sense of accomplishment. It wasn't just about the money or the power; it was about proving that he could make something of himself, even when others doubted him. He had gone from a struggling employee to a wealthy homeowner in a matter of weeks. But now, his mind was set on his next goal—taking down the company that had disrespected him.

Sitting in his spacious new living room, Dave pulled up his tablet and started to review his plan. He knew it would take time, but with the system's help, it was only a matter of when, not if, he would succeed. He'd destroy their reputation, drain their finances, and watch as they crumbled under the weight of their own arrogance.

"You'll learn what it means to cross someone like me," Dave whispered to himself, a small smile playing on his lips as he mapped out the next steps. The company would regret the day they looked down on him, and when they did, he would be the one standing tall.

This was just the beginning.
