Prithvi gritted his teeth in jealousy when he saw Raheel and Vedant together. But he composed himself as soon as possible as he did not want to ruin his image. Vedant's hand were in Raheel's hand as he walked towards the table.
He let go of Raheel's hand only to pull a chair and let Raheel sit on it like a perfect gentleman. As he himself sat next to Raheel and immediately said, "I apologize for coming late, I got lost in the way."
Ahmad didn't said anything as he knew that both the guys wanted to spend some more time together and it's perfectly okay for it. As for Prithvi he decided to keep him busy with cellphone so as to not get angry and lose his temper.
The waiter arrived and pass on the menu as everyone started ordering Raheel's eyes were on Ahmad as to see what is his grandpa ordering. When he find that his grandpa noticed the stare he quickly gave him a smile and tried to look on the menu.
Vedant noticed that Raheel has not ordered yet so he ordered a Schezwan fried rice with no eggs as Raheel doesn't like eggs in fried rice and a manchurian soup. Raheel looked at him in shock because Vedant exactly ordered what Raheel would like to eat.
Ahmad took the opportunity and teased Vedant by saying, "Looks like someone did their homework." And everyone on the table burst into laughter. Of course Prithvi pretended to find it funny and had to fake laugh.
"So, it looked like Mr. Vedant and Mr. Raheel are in know to each other phase" said Prithvi trying to create a conversation. Before Raheel could reply, Vedant immediately said, "Well I know everything about Raheel it's just we decided to spend some time trying to understand more each other before getting married."
Prithvi nodded his head as now Vedant asked, "I have heard Mr. Prithvi used to be a Casanova is it true?" Prithvi gave a fake smile as he murmured to himself, "Looks like someone did a dig on me too."
So with that fake smile he replied, "Oh there's a saying that you got to meet hundred wrong ones until you find the right one."
Vedant clutched his hands and said, "So that means you have find the right one." Prithvi only nodded as he looked at Raheel who is busy texting someone on his cellphone.
Ahmad pat Prithvi's back as he said, "If you have find someone already than settle with that person soon." Vedant put a hand around Raheel and said, "Oh, don't forget to invite me and my wifey Raheel."
This instantly made Raheel to look from his cellphone and to Vedant who loved the expression on Raheel's face as Ahmad only laughed.
Luckily, food arrived as everyone eating their lunch. Prithvi had these calm expression on his face when he tasted the food. As when it came for dessert Raheel immediately said he wants mango ice cream. As Vedant took chocolate one and Prithvi took vanilla. Ahmad did not want dessert so he skipped.
When the waiter once again came back and Vedant told him to bring bill. Prithvi insisted that he would pay for everyone but Vedant did not let him pay as he said, "You are our guest and guests shouldn't pay. Also you are working on a project that is of my in laws company so that makes you our guest."
In the end Vedant paid for everyone. As they all walked out of the restaurant Raheel who keep himself silent through whole dinner said, "Thank you for joining with us on lunch and I look forward looking to work with you."
This brought a genuine smile on Prithvi's face as he nodded his head and left for his hotel. As for Ahmad he left in his car leaving Vedant and Raheel alone. Vedant thanked God for the opportunity and before he could say anything his cellphone started ringing.
Michael is calling him and he immediately picked up the call while excusing himself from Raheel. Still talking on the cellphone, Vedant's hand interlocked in Raheel's hand as Raheel just stood there in silence.
After five minute, He hang up the call and said, "I got to go it's an important matter and I need to be present." Raheel only nodded his head as he bid his bye to Vedant.
Still thinking whether to go by cab or by walking and Raheel selected the latter. As he continued to walk further he heard a car stop in front of him and two guys in mask walked out of the car. Raheel's instincts kicked in as he started running away. Making those two guys ran behind him.
Out of the corner, one masked guy appeared as he put a cloth on Raheel's mouth and instantly Raheel fell into unconsciousness. The masked guy carried Raheel in his arm as he with other two guys walked towards the black Mercedes.
Time went by and when Raheel didn't come home yet, Ahmad dialled Vedant's number who immediately picked up and asked, "Everything alright Mr. Ahmad?"
Ahmad just gave a light laugh and replied, "Yes, everything is alright, I just wanted to know when my grandson is coming home."
Vedant being puzzled asked, "He is not at home."
Ahmad replied, "Nope. Is he not with you?"
Vedant stood up from his car and replied, "I have to go somewhere related to work so I bid my goodbye hours ago."
Before Ahmad could say Vedant said, "Don't you worry Mr. Ahmad, I'll look after him and bring him back to home with me. You can rest assured."
And by saying that he hung up the call and called Raheel his cellphone rang but no one picked it. He immediately called Michael who came as soon as possible and asked, "What's wrong Vedant, big boss?"
Vedant replied, "Track Raheel's number and cellphone right now and let me know the location of it."
Michael replied, "On it boss" as he rushed back to his room to bring his cellphone.
Vedant looked at the clear sky and said, "I hope you are safe and perfectly fine."
