The morning sun was bright, filtering through the windows of Shakky's bar as everyone gathered around for breakfast. William was in high spirits.
After breakfast, William stretched and looked at Hancock with a smile. "Hancock, how about I take you out today?"
Hancock's eyes sparkled, her cheeks turning pink. "Is… is it a date?" she asked, her voice tinged with excitement.
"Yes, it's a da—" William started, but before he could finish, Hancock let out a little gasp, her hand flying to her mouth.
"Is this… is this a proposal?" she exclaimed, her voice rising in a dramatic fashion. She darted over to him, took his hand in hers, and looked into his eyes, brimming with a mix of excitement and nerves. "Can I call you husband now?"
A wave of laughter swept through the bar, but Hancock didn't notice. Instead, she started daydreaming, holding William's hand as if they were already married. "What should I do? I'm not ready for this!" she mumbled to herself, her cheeks burning as she imagined their wedding.
William chuckled, a spark of amusement in his eyes, and shook his head. Robin, watching the whole scene with a smirk, took the chance to jump in.
"Well, it seems Hancock's not ready for this," she said in a teasing tone. "William, how about you take me out instead?"
Hancock snapped back to reality, her eyes blazing as she glared at Robin. "No!" She reached over, grabbing William by the arm, and practically dragged him to the door, throwing one last look at Robin. "Let's go, William. We're not even married yet, and that vixen Robin is trying to take you away from me!"
The whole bar erupted into laughter, and William couldn't help but join in as Hancock pulled him outside.
Once they were alone outside, William handed Hancock a sleek black mask that covered her eyes and nose. "Put this on," he said, donning a similar mask on his face.
Hancock looked at him with a curious tilt of her head. "Why are we wearing these?"
William's voice turned low and playful. "I want a peaceful, romantic date with my lovely Hancock," he replied, the words making her blush. "I don't want the navy or the world government to ruin our date. Besides, with your beauty, the only way to enjoy our date is if you petrify everyone on this island."
Her cheeks turned an even deeper shade of pink at his words, and she put the mask on with a sweet smile, hugging his arm. "I see," she murmured, happiness sparkling in her eyes.
They started their morning by exploring the shops scattered across the groves. Hancock would try on new outfits, twirling around for William to see. Each time she stepped out of the dressing room, William gave her his opinion, often making her blush with compliments that came easily to him.
"That dress is perfect for you," he'd say, or, "You look even more beautiful than I thought possible."
Hancock bought several outfits, picking some for him as well, wanting him to look his best too. They laughed and joked, teasing each other.
As noon approached, William led her to a fancy restaurant tucked away in a quieter part of Sabaody. They were shown to a private room, and after the waiters brought their food, they took off their masks.
William slid his chair closer to hers. "There's too much distance between us," he said with a grin, making her heart race.
She blushed, looking down at her plate, but her gaze lifted when he gently held a piece of steak to her lips. "Open up," he murmured, his eyes twinkling with amusement.
Hancock obeyed, her cheeks warm as she allowed him to feed her. Summoning her courage, she cut a piece of steak for him in return, feeding him with a shy but pleased smile. They shared a quiet, tender lunch, savoring every moment and every bite as they fell deeper into their emotions.
After lunch, William rented a bubble bike, gesturing for Hancock to hop on behind him. She wrapped her arms around his waist, holding on tight as they glided smoothly across the groves.
Arriving at Sabaody Park, William took Hancock's hand, and they wandered through the amusement rides and attractions, laughing like children. They rode the Ferris wheel together, and as it lifted them up, Hancock leaned into him, resting her head on his shoulder.
They gazed out at the breathtaking view, the islands of Sabaody stretching out beneath them. "We've come a long way, haven't we, Hancock?" he said softly.
She looked up at him, her blue eyes filled with warmth. "Yes," she replied. "It feels like just yesterday I met this cold kid with only hate and destruction in his beautiful green eyes."
William laughed, shaking his head. "You hated me back then, didn't you?"
"Yes," she admitted, a playful smile on her lips. "I didn't have a good first impression of you, but you have to understand, the first time me and my sisters saw men in our lives, They kidnapped us and sold us, so we hated men, and you are a man too…"
Hancock reached out, her fingers lightly brushing his cheek. "But you took care of us. You taught us how to survive. Even when you acted cold and distant, we knew you cared. I hate what happened to us, William… but if given the choice, I wouldn't change it, because if I did, I might never have met you. And I can't imagine a life without you."
Her words touched him deeply, and he placed his hand over hers, his eyes softening as he looked into her eyes. "I can't imagine a life without you either, my silly princess." He leaned closer, his voice barely a whisper. "Hancock, I love you."
Then, gently, he kissed her, a kiss filled with all the emotions they'd held back for so long. Hancock's heart soared as she melted into his embrace, feeling happier than she'd ever felt.
When they finally pulled away, she looked at him, her cheeks flushed. "I love you too, William," she said softly, her voice filled with sincerity.
As the evening approached, William suggested they head back to the bar, but Hancock hesitated, her gaze shifting to the ground as she asked shyly, "Can we… not go back? Let's find a place to spend the night, just the two of us."
He gave her a warm smile. "Anything you want."
They found a beautiful suite in one of Sabaody's finest hotels, with a view of the sea from their balcony. As they entered, Hancock took a deep breath and turned to him, her cheeks flushed with a mixture of courage and nerves.
"William," she murmured, "can you marry me now?"
William chuckled, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "Wait until we build our kingdom," he promised. "When that day comes, I'll marry you and hold a gorgeous wedding for you."
She nodded, her heart fluttering. "Alright… we can hold the wedding then. But… can we… sleep together tonight?"
William chuckled. "Are you sure that's what you want?"
"Oh, I'm sure," Hancock gave him a provocative look as she remembered all the times she'd waited for this. "I was ready years ago, but someone was too small back then."
William let out a wicked laugh, spanked her ass, and said "I will not be a man if I stand this kind of provocation."
With a mischievous gleam in his eye, William scooped Hancock up in his arms, her laughter echoing softly in the suite as he carried her to the bed. In the gentle glow of the moonlight streaming through the window, they found themselves wrapped in each other's warmth, every shared glance and touch conveying what words could not. Their hearts beat in perfect harmony as they embraced, allowing their love to guide them closer than ever before.
As the night unfolded, they moved together in a rhythm only they understood, savoring each moment and creating a memory of love and joy that would stay with them forever.
(Sorry, my fellow men of culture, but there will be no lemons, so you can only use your imagination.)
