Chapter 47 - Chapter 47: Fight Against a Polar Bear

William's gaze hardened as he assessed the three agents before him. The tactical necessity was clear: he couldn't let them team up against him. This fight needed to be swift and decisive. His body shifted, scales erupting across his skin, wings flaring behind him as he assumed his hybrid dragon form. The agents' eyes widened, unease flickering behind their stoic masks. With a predatory gleam in his eyes, William stared them down, his confidence unshaken.

The leader of the agents, with a quick flash of fear, murmured, "Not good…"

Before they could so much as flinch, William disappeared, reappearing behind one of the two lower-ranked agents. The agent barely had time to react as William's clawed hand plunged into his chest with brutal efficiency. His eyes went wide, the shock registering only in his final moments. The leader growled, his voice laced with dread.

"He's breaking down our numbers advantage!"

William withdrew his bloodied hand, flicking it clean as he turned toward the second weaker agent. The glint of murderous intent in his eyes was unmistakable. With a calculated smirk, he feinted a strike toward the remaining weaker agent, but in reality, his target was the leader himself. Predictably, the leader lunged forward to protect his subordinate, only to realize William's true aim too late. All he could do was steel his body with Haki, bracing for the impact.

William struck with thunderous force, his claws raking across the leader's chest and sending him flying across the ruins of Ohara. He spun immediately, focusing on the remaining lower-ranked agent, who looked up with terror just as William's flaming fist slammed into his gut. A strangled cry escaped him before William's clawed fingers clamped around his throat. With a growl, he unleashed a scorching dragon's breath, the agent's head turning to ash in seconds.

By the time the leader scrambled back to his feet, both of his teammates were gone, and the dread in his eyes was unmistakable. He glanced toward Robin, who watched in quiet awe from the edge of the clearing, and his mind worked quickly.

Realizing he couldn't match William alone, he activated his Zoan-type Demon Fruit ability—the Polar Bear form. White fur sprouted across his skin, and his muscles expanded, transforming him into a hulking bear-like creature, with sharp claws and an animalistic snarl that echoed through the silence.

William's eyes sparkled with excitement, a grin splitting his face. "Now *that's* what I'm talking about! Let's have some fun."

They clashed with ferocity, William's hybrid dragon form meeting the agent's bear-like bulk. William ducked under a swiping claw and retaliated with a flaming kick, his foot connecting with the agent's chest and leaving scorched fur. The agent retaliated with a powerful paw swipe, his claws managing to scrape across William's armored scales, though failing to draw blood.

William laughed, circling his opponent with a gleam in his eyes. "Is that the best you got? I expected a little more from a government lapdog."

The agent roared, lunging forward and aiming a Haki-hardened fist at William's jaw. William twisted, catching the agent's arm and spinning him off balance. He slammed his elbow into the agent's shoulder with a satisfying crack, sending him staggering back with a gasp of pain. But the agent was relentless, rallying back and throwing everything he had into each swing. Yet with every exchange, William seemed more in control, his movements fluid and precise, his strikes swift and powerful.

As they fought, the agent's frustration grew. He realized he was outmatched, and his mind began to whirl in search of a new tactic. His gaze flickered over to Robin, standing nearby, and his expression darkened with cunning.

William's smile dropped, his voice cold and cutting. "Oh, you think you're going to use her against me?"

Without another word, William's Conqueror's Haki surged out in a pulse, the force rippling through the clearing. The agent staggered, thrown off balance by the sheer pressure of William's spirit. Before he could get even a step closer to Robin, William was in front of him, his fist smashing into the agent's spine with merciless strength. The agent let out a strangled cry, his legs giving out beneath him as he collapsed to the ground, paralyzed.

"Where do you think you're going?" William's voice was calm, almost amused, as he watched the agent writhe, unable to move. He knelt down beside the fallen agent, a dark glint in his eye, and raised a fist.

The agent whimpered, his voice a mere whisper. "Please…"

But William's fist came down, connecting with the agent's face with brutal force. He struck again, each blow echoing with finality, until the agent fell unconscious, his face bruised and broken. Satisfied, William reached into his space pocket and tucked the agent inside, saving him for some purpose yet to be determined.

He stood, brushing his hands together with an air of nonchalance, and turned back to Robin. She looked at him with a mix of awe and pride, her eyes shining.

"That was amazing, William," she said, walking up to him. "By the way… what kind of Demon Fruit did you eat to get such power?"

William grinned, letting his dragon form melt away as he ruffled her hair playfully. "It's a Mythical Zoan Demon Fruit—a dragon form, rarer than any Logia. Guess I lucked out with that one."

Robin's eyes went wide with fascination. "You mean… the mythical kind that's nearly impossible to find?"

"Yep. Imagine how disappointed the Celestial Pigs would be if they knew that one of them gave it to me." He laughed, casting a glance over the wreckage around them. Then he placed an arm around her shoulders and started walking toward the edge of the ruins. "Now, let's get out of here. I think we've made enough of a statement."

Together, they left Ohara, each step taking them further from the ashes of their past and closer to the future they were building together.
