I was taken aback by her words until I remembered Trish and her tail.
"Hahahaha."
I started laughing until Anna's claws tightened and broke skin.
"Relax Anna and smell again. Do I smell like I just had sex or just took a shower to hide the smell of sex?"
She glared at me before smelling again and muttering.
"No...but you smell like a cat!"
"I didn't do anything bad so let's get off the floor and move to the couch. I'll explain everything I did during my time away."
Anna retracted her claws from my sides and got off me so we both could move to the couch. I sat with Iris on my right and Anna settled on my left. Giving Iris a kiss I told them about my adventure.
"At first I was just wandering around checking out anything that caught my interest. However I eventually smelled a familiar scent from my childhood. One of the few good memories I have of that time."
I paused in my story as the door opened and Amy pushed a cart into the room followed closely by Beth pushing a second cart. Setting aside my story until we could all listen I waited until Amy and Beth had placed meals in front of Iris, Anna, and myself. They remained standing and I was confused.
"Didn't you get dinner for yourselves?"
I knew they had because I could see two more plates they left on one of the carts.
"It is not proper for mere servants to eat together with the princess."
I looked to Iris with an eyebrow raised and she knew what I meant.
"In this room I am not a princess. I am just one of Adam's lovers. That makes us equals, so please eat with us."
Amy and Beth were torn between what they had been trained for years to do and what Iris was telling them. I gave Iris a quick kiss before I got up and, taking a hand each, led them to the couch and had them sit before getting their plates myself and serving them.
"Iris and Anna have accepted you, as far as I am concerned we are family. And as a family we will eat together."
Now that we were all settled I restarted my story.
"So as I was walking around town I smelled something delicious and followed my nose to a small restaurant in a back alley. Turns out it was an Earthling speakeasy."
Anna: "A what? What's a speakeasy?"
"It's a term from a time in Earth history. Basically a place to partake in activities that other would find questionable or illegal."
Iris got a strange look on her face before speaking.
"Um..so an Earthling place to do things that others wouldn't approve of? Just what was going on there?"
Hearing Iris's questions all the other girls froze as they guessed at the restaurants purpose in their minds.
Seeing their reactions I smiled ruefully. There is a difference between knowing I'm an Earthling and accepting all of what that means.
"Yes, it's exactly the kind of place that you think it is."
I took a bite of my meal and drank a bit of the wine that came with it.
"Today's lunch special was 'stewed Lizardman tail'."
They tried to hide their reactions but I could see through them. Setting my silverware down I asked them a question.
"How much do you really know about Earthlings?"
Iris: "Only rumors. I've never actually talked with one."
I looked from one girl to the next as they all nodded along with Iris's words.
"Ok. So Earthlings can eat other races but we have lines we will not cross. For example I would never eat anything humanoid. So from a Lizardman I would only ever have tail. It's arms, legs, head, and torso are off limits and most Earthlings do the same."
I smiled at the four girls.
"The rumors about the savagery of Earthlings has been exaggerated to an almost unbelievable extent. Only the truly bloodthirsty or insane would cross the line."
I picked up my silverware and began eating again as the others thought about my words.
"So yeah. An Earthling speakeasy and one of the waitresses was from a cat-eared race. She was flirty and was rubbing up on me but I turned her down. After eating I went back to wandering around before coming back."
I continued eating and after a few moments the girls resumed eating as well but there was an awkward silence hanging in the air. I knew Anna and Iris enough to know that they were rethinking everything they thought they knew about Earthlings. As for Amy and Beth...based on the glances they kept giving me, their fidgeting, and their flushed faces; they were horny....again.
After we finished eating Amy made tea while Beth made two trips to return the meal carts. Leaning back on the couch I wrapped my arms around Iris and Anna and spoke.
"Are the two of you sleeping here tonight?"
They both tucked their heads a bit embarrassed before they shyly answered.
Iris: "As much as I would like to I can't. I have to keep up appearances for now. Having dinner with the man who saved my mother's life is the only excuse I had to spend time with you. So unfortunately I won't be able to see you in a private setting like this for a few days."
Anna: "I also have to leave. My father is adamant that we not share a bed until we are married."
Anna poked me gently in the side.
"So you better hurry up, I'm not sure how long I can wait."
I just smiled and held them close.
"Well then I'm not letting you go until you have to leave."
They snuggled into me and gave the exact same answer.
"Likewise."
We spent the next few hours talking about their daily life and I heard all kinds of details about their younger days but every time they tried to get me to tell them a bit from my past I dodged their questions. They seemed a bit upset that I didn't want to share until they both were tired of it.
Iris: "Enough dodging our questions Adam. We want to know more about you."
Anna: "Exactly right. We've only been talking about ourselves and we want to know more about you."
I looked each of them in the eye and could tell they weren't taking 'no' for an answer this time. Looking to Amy and Beth I could see the same curiosity in them as well.
"It's not that I am trying to hide my past from you, it's just that I didn't want to dampen the mood."
Taking my arms from around them I rose to my feet.
"I'm not entirely ready to relive everything by talking about it but I can at least show you a bit of what I've been through."
I took off my first illusion gear and once again had to pause when Anna gasped.
'Forgot she wasn't in the hospital earlier today.'
I looked at her and winked.
"Surprised?"
She just stared in wide eyed amazement for a bit while drool slid down from one corner of her mouth.
Iris: "Anna you're drooling."
SSLLUURRPP!!
We all burst out laughing as Anna slurped her drool back in.
"Well putting aside Anna's obvious admiration for my natural look let's get back to what I was about to show you."
I slowly unbuttoned my shirt and when I took it off I heard all four of them gulp. I gave them a small, strained smile before taking off my second illusion gear and closing my eyes. There was pin drop silence as the four of them just stared at me. Having my eyes closed helped me focus and I could literally feel four sets of eyes taking in my scars and burns from to bottom and then I turned so they could see my back as well.
Amy: "We knew you had scars from washing your back but we would never have imagined...."
I opened my eyes and turned back to face the four of them.
Iris: "How? Who did this to you?"
I shook my head.
"I lived on a human supremacist planet until I turned ten. Let's leave it at that for now."
As I swiftly put my appearance back in order Iris rose to her feet and hugged me tightly.
"I can't even begin to imagine what you have been through but I'm...we're here with you now. You don't have to bear it alone."
"I know. I'll tell you all about my past but not today and probably not until we are off planet. The vast distances of space are great for long conversations."
We settled back onto the couch and the girls started talking with more enthusiasm than before as if they trying to quickly clear the awkwardness from the air. Even Amy and Beth started chiming in with brief stories and minor rumors passed around by the palace maids. It wasn't until there was a knock on the door that I realized how dark it had gotten outside.
"Come in."
The door opened and a maid I didn't recognize stepped into the room and gave a low curtsey.
"My apologies for the intrusion Captain Hunt. Princess Iris, Vice Captain White, the Queen has requested you both come to her room."
Iris: "Very well. We will make our way there shortly. You may go."
The maid curtseyed again before leaving the room and closing the door. Iris let out a sigh before she hugged me tightly and got up Anna did the same and I stood and followed them to the door.
"Now that I've found you I don't want to let you go."
They both looked at me before giving me a kiss each and walking away.
"It won't be long until we can stay together as husband and wives. Just have a little patience."
When the door closed behind them I felt a small pain in my chest. I lifted my hand to rub my chest but it didn't help. After about a minute I let my hand fall and turned back to see Amy and Beth staring at me with hungry eyes. They had already stripped and were just standing there waiting. I just shook my head.
"What am I going to do with the two of you?"
Amy: "I can think of a few things."
She smiled and licked her lips.
Beth: "Ca..can you...t..take off your illusion gear? Please?"
Beth was blushing fiercely and when Amy heard her request her eyes sparkled.
Amy: "Yes! Please?!"
Looking between the two of them I just chuckled and took off my first illusion gear.
"Just one or both?"
They quickly put their heads together and spoke so softly even I couldn't hear what they said.
Amy: "Both. If you don't have a problem with it."
I closed my eyes and thought for a bit. In all of my dreams I had been wearing my illusions. Was there a deeper meaning to that or was it just what I was used to? Shaking my head I removed my second illusion gear and walked to the bathroom followed closely by my two sexy maids.
