Frudi's eyes locked onto Laurel's, her expression unyielding. "What do you want?" she spat, her voice firm.
Laurel's smile never wavered. "Oh, Frudi, it's so nice to finally meet you in person."
Frudi's eyes narrowed. "I've seen your pictures. But we've never met."
Laurel chuckled, the sound sending a shiver down Dylan's spine. "Yes, I suppose that's true. But I've heard so much about you, Frudi."
Frudi raised an eyebrow. "I doubt that. What do you want?"
Laurel's expression turned cold, her eyes glinting with malice. "I'm here to offer you a choice."
Frudi snorted. "I'm not interested in anything you have to offer."
Laurel's smile returned, wider and more sinister than before. "Oh, I think you'll be very interested in this offer, Frudi. You see, I have something you want very much."
Frudi's eyes narrowed. "What could you possibly have that I'd want?"
