As they stood in front of the warehouse, still chatting and joking, a particular guy emerged from the shadows. Frudi wasn't looking in his direction, but she heard the sound of his gun being readied to fire. Her instincts kicked in, and she turned around just in time to see the guy taking aim.
Without hesitation, Frudi drew her own gun and fired, hitting the guy squarely on the forehead. The sound of the gunshot echoed through the air, and Daniel's eyes widened in shock.
"Gurl, you just shot him on the forehead! Are you sure he's...?" Daniel trailed off, his voice laced with concern.
Frudi shook her head, her expression matter-of-fact. "No, he's not good. He's dead."
Daniel looked at her, his eyes searching for any sign of emotion. "Are you okay with that?"
Frudi shrugged, her shoulders barely rising off her shoulders. "When you're in this line of work, or when you come from a family like mine, this kind of thing is normal. Isn't it?"
