Alex sat down on the chair at Frudi's desk, crossing his leg and looking at her with a serious expression. "What are you going to do? I don't think anybody is going to let you leave the mansion, you can't leave base because of your injury, which is really what you need to take care of."
Frudi laughed, a hint of irony in her voice. "Oh, I see the irony, but seriously, it's unsettling. Do you know what they would have done? They actually wanted to shoot at Dylan, so if they are after him, it's bugging me."
Alex looked at her, a knowing glint in his eye. "Oh, lover girl," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm.
Frudi rolled her eyes, exasperated. "Shut up, Alex."
