Chapter 52:
Tristan thought for a moment about what could be so secretive that Frudi was doing, and then a smile spread across his face. "Are you going to check on my son again?" he asked, his eyes sparkling with amusement.
Frudi's face turned bright red, and she shook her head. "No, no, I'm just going back to Guadalajara. Maybe I miss home or Maria."
Tristan laughed so hard that he had to hold his stomach. "You need to see your face! You're just like your dad when you lie - your ears go red, and it's so obvious right now!"
Frudi groaned and used her hands to cover her ears, her face still bright red. Tristan's expression turned serious, and he looked at Frudi with a hint of sincerity. "You know, one thing I don't think your dad has approved of you and my son yet, but I approve."
Frudi's eyes widened, and she looked at Tristan like she had seen a ghost. Tristan chuckled and said, "Hey, snap out of it, Frudi! What's wrong with you?"
