Frudi's eyes narrowed, her mind racing. "Sergio, what's happening? Why is the Triad involved?"
Sergio hesitated, choosing his words carefully. "They're questioning your father's leadership, Frudi. They think he's becoming... soft."
Frudi's grip on her gun tightened. "Soft? What does that even mean?"
Sergio's expression turned grim. "They believe Cisco's focus on legitimacy and less violent methods is weakening the mafia. They want a return to the old ways."
Frudi's thoughts swirled. Her father's vision for the Rivera Mafia was different, but she knew the Triad's influence could destroy everything.
"What about Ferguson?" Frudi asked, her voice low.
Sergio's eyes darted around the room before focusing on Frudi. "He's the one pushing the agenda, Frudi. He wants the leadership for himself."
Frudi's jaw clenched. She wouldn't let that happen.
