Julius was jolted awake by the alarm blaring directly in his ears. He let out a tired groan as he struggled to open his heavy eyelids. He felt a shift beside him and quickly reached for the nightstand to turn off the alarm.
He didn't want to risk waking Agares, who had a busy day yesterday and went to bed late. He deserved the extra sleep. With his phone already in hand, Julius took the opportunity to scroll through his emails and check his messages.
He smiled when he saw a text from Amélie and Silas, inviting him out for dinner next weekend. He was about to reply when an arm slid around his waist, pulling him closer. Julius grinned as he heard Agares groan into his pillow, his hand drifting lower on his waist.
"Hey!" He exclaimed as he swatted his hand away. "Get those dirty little hands off of me."
