Agares' normally expressionless face had morphed into a form Julius couldn't believe he was seeing. His normal smooth skin had formed creases: his forehead, the corner of his eyes and the sides of his mouth, all indicators of someone on the verge of laughter.
And then Julius heard it, the deep and melodious sounds that bubbled inside his throat and escaped his lips as he stared at the honey-blond, his gray orbs sparkling with delight. Julius' mouth flew open as he looked at him, his eyes filled with confusion and a hint of amusement of his own.
"W-What's going on?"
Agares shook his head as he swallowed a chuckle that was threatening to escape his lips. "It's nothing." He finally said after composing himself.
Julius frowned "It's obviously not nothing. What did I say that was funny enough to make you laugh?"
