THE PRIVATE jet soared through the skies, leaving the island of Eruba behind. Wesley and Charlotte sat in comfortable silence, each lost in their own thoughts.
As the jet leveled out, Wesley's assistant, Cross, emerged from the cockpit, a look of concern on his face.
"Wesley, I've got some news," Cross said, his voice low. "Taylor, your private investigator, has been digging deeper into Nellie's past. And what he's found is disturbing."
Wesley's eyes narrowed, his mind racing with possibilities. "What is it?" he asked, his voice firm.
Cross hesitated before speaking. "It seems that Nellie is just the tip of the iceberg. There's a whole network of people working against you, Wesley. And they're all connected to your past."
