Chapter 35 - Now a disciple

The disciples gasped when they heard the announcement, so the first elder and her disciple had fallen from grace just like that? Having one's meridians destroyed was equal to cutting their limbs, it was just like dying.

It was even worse for someone who once had the position of a prime disciple, imagine living all your life as the child of heaven only to be cast to the dirt the next moment; it was a traumatizing blow.

"I would rather die at this point if it was me, the first elder has lost all face" 

"True, I heard that the cold cell was used for traitors and dangerous enemies; it's very cold there, and the air isn't nice at all; she's going to be miserable for two years!" 

"That serves them right; I didn't even like the first elder, to be honest. She once came to my hometown while I was young and beat up an old man because he asked for a copper coin"
