Haein was still shaken and so was Heeya.
The little girl just killed a man.
No child deserved to be forced into doing such a thing.
But she did it to save us.
What kind of hell did I just bring this girl into?
First, it was all about revenge.
Killing someone who had wronged Haein. That was easy. I would have done it gladly, just as I had done before.
Then I found it was the same motherfucker who did the unthinkable to little Yui - now our Heeya - before.
Again, I killed him gladly and it was an added bonus that I rescued her again.
Then we started to live together.
Perhaps, maybe, just slightly - I was happy for a moment.
We went to a zoo.
I don't think I've ever been to a zoo before.
