We were in Myeongdong, on November 9th.
We could have chosen somewhere more open space like Hangang Park, but with all the soldiers around with their vigilance, we didn't want to be in an open space where we may be stopped and checked before the fight even began. After all, we needed that katana and couldn't afford to have it confiscated. Also, we wanted some cover from all the bullets and rockets that will be flying around. We didn't want to repeat the same mistake ever again.
Although Martial Law was decreed, the government wanted to keep up the pretense of normalcy, so it was still possible to go around the city albeit with a hell of a lot fewer people on the street and in shopping districts like Myeongdong. People no longer went out for leisure and only traveled for work.
