That night, Noah couldn't sleep. Thousands of thoughts swirled in his mind, worries stacking one on top of the other. Today was the day—the day when the constellations would make themselves known. The day when his former classmates would choose their path.
The weight of the moment was suffocating. Unable to bear the tension any longer, Noah got up, grabbed his clothes from the shabby wardrobe in the house he had been squatting in, and stepped outside. The cold air hit his skin, but it felt like nothing compared to the storm raging inside him.
"Fenfir, come here."
As soon as Noah's words cut through the night, the ground rumbled, and a massive white wolf appeared out of the shadows. Fenfir lowered itself, allowing Noah to climb on its back.
"Let's go."
Without hesitation, the beast launched forward, its powerful legs propelling them through the dark streets. They reached the collapsed bridge, the gaping void before them more than 30 meters wide. But Fenfir didn't slow. Muscles rippled beneath thick fur as the wolf pushed off, effortlessly clearing the chasm in a single leap.
Noah barely reacted. His mind was elsewhere. His gaze drifted upward as they landed on the other side—the stars seemed brighter that night .
________
When Noah arrived at the school, the moon still hung high in the sky. His classmates were already there, waiting in the eerie silence.
"Holy crap! Can I pet him?"
John's voice broke the tension, his eyes wide as he gawked at Fenfir.
Noah dismounted calmly, running a hand through the wolf's fur. "No."
John let out a disappointed groan, but Noah ignored him. His focus shifted to the group.
"Let's get to it. What level are you all at?"
"13," Isabel said, a smug grin on her face.
"11," Kevin muttered, looking down, clearly annoyed.
"14! Ha! I win!" John pumped his fist into the air, laughing.
"Shut up, John," Isabel snapped, rolling her eyes.
Noah crossed his arms, sizing them up.
Not bad... Kevin's a bit low, but he's a Tanker. It's always harder for them to level up quickly.
"Good. Here's the deal. You're about to make two decisions. Both are important. The first—whether or not you'll follow me. The second... it's something bigger."
*Swoom*
*Swooom*
*Swoooom*
Suddenly, the sky began to darken.
"What the hell is happening?! T-the stars... they're disappearing?!" John stumbled back, crashing to the ground in shock.
All of them looked up as one. One by one, the stars vanished, as if being swallowed by an unseen force. The moon hung ominously, the only light left in the pitch-black sky. For a moment, the world stood still, shrouded in darkness.
And then, as if on cue, new stars began to blink into existence. Hundreds—no, thousands of them—taking the place of the ones that had shone for millennia.

________
The list went on and on, seemingly endless.
W-wait a minute, is that... Satan?! Yeah, screw you. Like hell I'm picking you.
Noah had learned two crucial things about the final boss in his past life:
1. He had once been human.
2. He was the one who had chosen Satan as his sponsor.
And now you want me too, huh?
The constellation system followed a strict rule: each deity or supernatural being could only select one human to act as their avatar. Once chosen, no other constellation could claim that person.
Noah's eyes flickered across the list. Countless names appeared on the screen, arranged in a rigid hierarchy. Most people weren't aware of the risk—borrowing power from a god always came with a steep price.
In his first life, Noah had chosen @WarLover—the god of war, Ares. From him, Noah had received the Berserker role. Over time, he had managed to evolve it into Warlord. But it hadn't been without cost. Every job granted by a deity took something in return. For Noah, it had been the loss of sleep. Not the need for sleep—just the ability to actually sleep.
For years, Noah had wandered battlefields, eyes wide open.
Never sleeping. Never resting.
The top contenders are all powerful... interchangeable in the rankings... but I've made my choice.
Noah's hand hovered over the screen.
