Noah's gaze shifted to the lifeless body of the creature he had just slain.
"Hm... Three more to go. I guess it's time to get some help."
"Rise."
A pitch-black fog enveloped the fallen monster's body, momentarily concealing it from view. As the dark mist slowly dissipated, it left behind only the skeleton of the creature. The fatal wound where the scissors had pierced remained, a jagged crack visible in its eye socket. The skeleton, now upright, stared blankly at Noah, waiting for his next command.

"Mhm... Not bad. Better than I expected…"
Noah mused, giving his undead minion a once-over.
"Alright then, let's get to work."
Without hesitation, Noah dashed toward the remaining goblins, still clutching the scissors in his right hand.
"You, focus on the one on the right," he commanded. "I'll take care of the other two."
Without a word, the skeletal goblin sprang into action, moving with surprising speed. Its movements were erratic, almost primal, as it bounded across the classroom like a wild animal. The creature closed the gap between itself and its target, raising its crude machete high. One clean strike to the heart was all it took, and the goblin collapsed, dead before it even knew what hit it.
The other two goblins didn't even have time to react. They were caught off guard, confused by the swift death of their comrade. Before they could process what was happening, Noah was already behind them. With a single leap, he closed the distance and landed silently, like a predator stalking its prey.
The first goblin barely had time to register the shadow looming behind it before Noah's fist came crashing down on its skull with enough force to crack it wide open. The creature fell to the ground, lifeless.
Noah turned his attention to the final goblin, which was now visibly panicking, cornered by both Noah and the skeletal minion. With no escape, it crouched low on all fours, eyeing the shattered window as a desperate escape route.
"Oh no you don't!"
With a flick of his wrist, Noah hurled his scissors through the air. The blades whistled as they spun, embedding themselves deep into the goblin's leg. The creature let out a pitiful shriek as it collapsed, only to be silenced when Noah's boot came crashing down on its head.
Silence.
Around Noah, there was nothing but silence. The chaos that had erupted only moments ago now seemed like a distant memory, as if the classroom itself was holding its breath.

"Well, that's taken care of. Nothing left to do here."
Noah casually made his way toward the classroom door, stepping over the bodies of his fallen classmates without so much as a second glance.
"Wait!" a voice called out, shaky and uncertain. One of the remaining students, still reeling from the massacre, had managed to find his voice.
"It's dangerous out there! We don't know what's waiting for us! There could be more monsters! If we stick together, we have a better chance!"
Noah paused for a moment, his hand resting on the doorframe. He glanced over his shoulder, his eyes cold and emotionless.
"I don't need dead weight. Besides, I've already got him,"
Noah said, gesturing to the skeletal goblin at his side.
Without another word, Noah stepped into the hallway, the door swinging shut behind him.
---
The hallway was a grim sight. The air was thick with the metallic stench of blood. Dark, wet stains coated the floor, interrupted only by the occasional small footprint trailing off into the distance. Noah inhaled deeply, the corners of his lips curling into a dark, menacing smile.
The usual mask of indifference that dominated his expression had melted away, replaced by something far more sinister.
"It's time to level up like crazy, don't you think?"
Noah said, casting a glance at his skeletal companion.
The skeleton tilted its head slightly, as if confused by the question. The vacant sockets of its skull stared blankly at Noah, unable to process the meaning behind his words.
"And I think it's about time we find you some friends to play with, don't you agree?"
Noah grinned, cracking his knuckles as he started down the blood-soaked corridor.
More monsters awaited.
More experience points.
More power.
This was only the beginning.
