Previously, Alice had gained the ability to read other's thoughts from Lilith, but not just anyone, only those who held hostility towards her.
And yes, she never thought she would find someone so soon; after all, the people around her all love her, but in this school... She was beginning to find that hostility towards a fellow classmate was the order of the day.
