"We're done." Leo announced as he walked out of the kitchen and Alice turned to them. That took quite a while. How many more minutes did they have to spare?
She caught sight of two food flasks in their hands, and her eyes gleamed.
"Then should we get going?" Alice asked but Leo suddenly grabbed her by the hand and said,
"Come with me for a moment." She tilted her head.
"Huh?"
But one look in his eyes and she could tell he had something to say.
"Oh alright," she said.
"Oh, and bring the other flask with you." She obediently followed his directives while Mark stared in confusion. What were they up to?
The kitchen had no doors, so their conversation was pretty open, but Leo knew just how to block their voices from reaching other ears.
He set up a soundproof barrier around them, and even though Alice could see it, she couldn't understand what it was.
