Honestly, Alice felt she wasn't prepared for anything. She knew that going to school was just for formality at this point, so it didn't matter if she passed with flying colors, but it all felt pointless.
They were taking such good care of her, and she bet they already had her school bag, which she didn't even know she had filled with books.
'I guess I'll just give it a try first.' she thought to herself. 'It shouldn't be so hard with Leo helping me with comprehension and stuff.' she glanced at him and he glanced at her. 'I guess this is one of the perks of having your mind linked with a god.'
Don't think of me as a comprehension material. Leo refuted harshly in her mind, but she gave a dead ear, glancing away and showing him her shoulders.
'You'll help me either way.' she confidently said to him.
"Good morning, Alice." Mark's voice alerted Alice and she turned to find him smiling warmly at her. "Did you sleep well?"
