Everything didn't go as I exactly planned, but that's quite normal, since whenever you have a plan there are always unexpected happenings that change it. We had firmed the contract, with only those two terms, basically now we would have a tournament in couples to decide who will rule over our village.

[Challenge: become the sovereign
the village has been created, but a stable power isn't present, thus making the village full of weaknesses. From the contract, there will be a king elected through a tournament, so decide the couples and then start the tournament. No killing is allowed, the win will be granted either if the opponent is unable to move or if the opponent surrender.

Well, well. This was interesting, the "GAME" had already set up a challenge for us to establish our king. That came in handy since we didn't have to bother with setting the rules, we had now a function to decide the pairs and then supposedly the "GAME" would do the matchings.
"Junichi, let's form a couple."
"Uh, c-c-couple... aaa, you meant a pair for the tournament. Yeah, fine by me."
C-c-couple!! What the heck was that boy thinking. I didn't get him, it was obvious that I was referring to the contest. Then we fiddled with our interfaces and we became a pair. It didn't take so long a time also for the others to get in pairs. Obviously, children and elders didn't make any pair, they didn't have the strength to fight properly. It was a bit sad that they'd just accept the king in this way, though.
The matching were completed, there were five couples including us. Since it was an odd number a team would have to fight twice, and it was the squad of the middle-aged man that first talked back to me. His first opponent was us.
I was thinking that lately I had gotten better, I wanted to fight on the first line since thanks to the share that we had for the party my stats could get higher. Even though I'm not as strong as Junichi, I can stand my own against those people, since they didn't get stronger in the first place.

It was a great improvement from the start, so I thought I could defeat them, Junichi would just have to back me up.
"Say, Junichi, would you mind if I stand on the front line this time and you just give me support, that way I can be the king."
"Ooo, you want to be the king, and what it I told you that I wanted to be the king?"
Had he just gone crazy or was he joking?
"Please, let me be the king, I proposed this terms for the contract to become the king, since I knew we far exceeded their strength, and so we can make good rules."

He was laughing so soundly, it seemed like a child enjoying his terrible joke. He must have realized I was serious since I gave him a bewildered look when he told he wanted to be the king.
"Alright, alright. I was just joking, it was my intention from the start to let you be the queen."

No, no, that was impossible. That, I... I... let's end this thoughts here, otherwise I would have mourned over them. We all got down the house and used the open space there to have a sort of ring where to fight. Ours was the first one, we got prepared and stood, each couple facing the other.

The "GAME" told us to start with a gun's shot, now anything that would have happened was mainly up to me and to me only. I hadn't fought so far, thus making me a little inexperienced. Nonetheless, I should have gotten overwhelming stats level compared to their. Now it was time to shine for me, the middle-age man was rushing at me, he apparently didn't have any weapons.
The fight should have been on equal terms, since we both were without weapons. I was still waiting, when he came at the right distance I accelerated with all I had, and in the blink of an eye I was right in front of him.
The second later he passed out on the floor because of my hit on his solar plexus. Then it was the time of his mate who was kind of frightened by me.
I didn't even put my left foot in front of my right to have a good sprint that I saw his hand up.
"I surrender!"
He screamed with all his voice.

We stepped a little away from the ring and the other two couples started fighting. The pair with the adolescent that had an argument with me won, they would have been our next opponents.
Unfortunately, the same middle-aged man who passed out had another chance of fighting, and he won, that proved that he was strong, indeed.
Then the time for the second rounds had come, we were up the adolescent, but I didn't hesitate in the slightest. He was organizing their coordination, he probably would have expected me to use the same strategy as before, however my plan was different this time.
All my muscles were already half contracted to allow me to have the most speed at the start.
Bang.. Rush
Before the kid even knew it, I was right in front of them, and surprisingly enough Junichi was at a good distance to help me if needed. He was doing his job properly.
I tried to deal a blow to the kid's solar plexus, and he skillfully dodged it, it may have been mere luck, but this was a proof that he was strong too. I didn't have any time to think, the guy was going for a low kick, to leave me unbalanced.
I let him hit my right hamstring, which made the hit as though it never happened. Going with my right leg further and my left leg on his knee, I grabbed him and made his twist on my right, those judo lessons had some utility now.
While he was on the ground, I hurriedly clenched my fist and then I thrusted my right arm to hit him, as a result he passed out.
"I-I-I s-s-surrender!"
Screamed his teammate. Uh, this was easier than expected, after taking down the main force a pair the other would voluntarily surrender.
The fight started between the middle-aged man and his mate against another pair. He overwhelmingly beat them. So finally it all came to this, a final between me and his team. Probably, it wasn't good to do everything on my own, so I decided to show also my good coordination with Junichi.
"Okay, we'll have this fight in a different way, we'll cooperate to take them down, but don't exaggerate in showing off your skills, it's always better to have a card or two up our sleeve."
"I'll do as you say, my queen."
And then he winked at me, he was making fun of me, wasn't he? That didn't matter in this moment, all my power had to be used against the middle-aged man.
We were ready, I told Junichi to run on the right and that I would go in the opposite direction, so that we could cling them in our attack.
Bang
We were already near them, but both our opponents were only looking at me, they didn't expect Junichi to fight, it was good. I served as a decoy while Junichi dealt one blow to the middle-aged man's mate, which sent him flying a little. That was my chance, he got distract by his mate so I came near and hit him, they were both unable to move, it was our victory.
[Everyone, the selection for a king has concluded, now I'll announce the king and the counsellor identity. After this, they will decide the laws for your village.

That left me speechless, the "GAME" arbitrarily decided who the king was without givin us any possibility to choose. All my plans were ruined, Junichi would probably follow my suggestions but still this wasn't what I expected.
"Hey, are you ok? Don't worry about me being the king, I'll let you decide the rules, and you still remain my queen."
Junichi whispered in my ear, which made me jump from fear. I was too assorted in my thought that was why I didn't notice him first. And he went again with this queen thing, I was blushing so brightly.
I could feel his breathe on my hear while he talked to me, and he got extremely close to do that.
It was now time for revenge, I had to pay him back of the things he didn't lately. After telling me that he got away, I followed him and-

I hugged him from behind, and whispered in his ear.
"Thank very much, my beloved king."
Then I got down and distanced myself. I was enjoying his reaction, since he wasn't expecting that at all. He blushed a little, and was looking at the ground, with his gaze down. He now couldn't fight back to me, could he?
