Ross sat in his luxurious living room, reclining comfortably in a leather chair with a smug grin on his face.
The soft hum of classical music played in the background, mingling with the scent of freshly brewed coffee. He had been expecting her.
"Oh? It's you again? Did you miss me so much that you couldn't bear not seeing me for long, Faith?" Ross quipped as he caught sight of her standing at the doorway, arms crossed and clearly unamused. His grin widened, exuding confidence that bordered on arrogance.
Faith stepped further inside, her heels clicking against the polished marble floor, her expression a mix of frustration and determination.
