"Alvin, my friend! How are you?!" Ross greeted warmly, pulling his friend into a big hug.
Ross's towering frame now dwarfed Alvin's, who still looked the same as he had months ago.
"I can't believe it, Ross! You've changed so much!" Alvin said, though his excitement was more about the fact that, despite all the money, power, and beautiful women Ross now had, he hadn't changed where it mattered most.
"I have, haven't I?" Ross laughed, his joy evident.
"How have you been? I didn't see you the last time I was here," Ross asked, genuinely curious.
"Oh, that's because I was in Northpass City at the time. I've been busy with my classes," Alvin explained before adding with a grin, "And congratulations on getting married, by the way! Honestly, I thought we were both destined to be single dogs forever."
Ross chuckled at the remark, shaking his head.
