"If I'd known it was this easy to get money, should I have spread my legs sooner?" Emma joked to herself privately, then shook her head in dismissal.
She just got lucky that Ross kept his word.
More than that, she was shocked by what Ross had told her. He had no plans to play in any NBA game until the play-in tournament.
He knew his team wasn't great, but that didn't bother him. He was confident they would make it through the play-ins this coming April.
He didn't care how they got there because he was certain he'd end up as the champion anyway.
