Gray hesitated at the cave's entrance, his eyes scanning its rough edges. He had been worried that Behemoth's massive frame wouldn't fit inside, but to his surprise, the cavern expanded dramatically once they stepped in, its walls stretching outward as if accommodating their presence.
"You go ahead and scout," Gray said, stopping to address the towering Behemoth. "If there are any threats, shout as loud as you can."
Behemoth tilted one of its heads, as if contemplating Gray's words. Its three faces bore a bizarre mix of stupidity and surprising comprehension. After a moment of deliberation, it nodded slowly.
Gray blinked, momentarily stunned. "You're learning?" he murmured, half in amusement. For a creature that could obliterate most opponents, Behemoth was comically simple-minded.
The massive beast moved deeper into the cave, its heavy footsteps echoing ominously. Occasionally, it turned back to glance at Gray, its eyes filled with reluctance.
