Reyansh woke up around 11 in the morning, holding his head in his hands. He had drunk a lot of alcohol the night before. When Bani had told Naina "I love you" over the phone, it had infuriated him. To release his anger, he had gone to the bar.
Upon returning home and seeing Bani in the room, he was reminded of her saying "I love you," which led him to lose all control.
As Reyansh glanced over at Bani, who was sleeping next to him, he was shocked by her condition. He uncovered the blanket and examined her body. Marks from a belt were visible all over her, which had turned slightly blue. In his drunken rage the previous night, Reyansh had hurt her badly.
He gently covered her with the blanket again, then looked at her face, which bore traces of tears, with streaks left from crying all night.
Reyansh got up from the bed, put on his pants, and then picked Bani up, carrying her to the washroom. There, he placed her in the bathtub and settled down next to her.
The water in the bathtub was warm, providing Bani with some relief from the pain, and she slowly opened her eyes.
As soon as Bani opened her eyes, Reyansh's face came into view. The sight of him made her tear up again. Just one look at her, and he began cleaning her body once more. Bani closed her eyes again.
After a while, Reyansh lifted Bani in his arms and brought her back outside, setting her down on the bed. Both Reyansh and Bani were wearing bathrobes.
Reyansh dressed in his pants and then removed Bani's bathrobe, applying ointment to her body. Bani opened her eyes, glaring at Reyansh with hatred.
After applying the ointment, Reyansh dressed her in a t-shirt and sweatpants. Now Bani was fully awake and staring at him.
Sitting in front of her, Reyansh caressed her cheek and said, "Next time, don't even think about saying 'I love you' to anyone else."
Bani looked at him in surprise, asking, "How do you know?"
Reyansh smiled slightly at her question. Then, holding her face in his hands, he said, "You've made quick progress from 'you' to 'baby.' Well, I know because I keep my eyes on you at all times."
Bani looked at him, a bit confused. Just then, a thought struck her, and her eyes widened in shock.
Stammering, Bani asked, "Y…you mean you… you tapped my phone?"
At her words, a devilish smile spread across Reyansh's face.
Seeing his smile, Bani realized she was right. She clenched her fists in anger. The man sitting in front of her was watching her every move, but she remained silent.
Reyansh returned wearing his shirt and blazer, kissed Bani on the forehead, and caressed her cheek as he said, "Take care, baby. I have some work today, so I'm leaving."
With that, Reyansh exited the room.
Once he was gone, Bani, filled with rage, punched the bed with her fist. Tears welled up in her eyes as she muttered to herself, "You are so cruel, Reyansh Oberoi, so cruel. You have no heart. You've separated me from my family, threatened my brother, and forced yourself upon me. I hate you, just hate you."
As she spoke, the hatred for Reyansh was evident in her eyes. Bani's gaze then fell on the dressing table in the room, and she stared at it for a while.
At that moment, her face showed nothing but hatred for Reyansh. No emotions were visible.
It was hard to tell what was going through her mind. After a while, Bani took a deep breath and slowly got up from the bed, making her way to the washroom. Although she struggled to walk because of the pain, she managed to reach the washroom. A little while later, she emerged and lay down on the bed.
